  1. As someone who manages a department with deadlines based on a specific business day of the month, it would be really helpful to have an option to have a task recur every x business day of the month.

    For example, we must have our bank reporting completed by the 10th business day of the month. That might land on the 12th of March, 2021, or 14th of April, 2021.

    Thoughts?

  2. Would like the ability to have the same colors for groups in case I want all projects within that group to be the same color. Ex: All projects within Group A to have Color1; All projects within Group B to have Color2.....without having to do this manually, one by one, as it is done now.

    It would be great to be able to choose a group-specific color within the edit menu for the group.

A lot of tasks involves someone outside the company, like a client, a supplier, an agency, etc. So It would be great that in every task you can put a reminder (1 hour, 1 day or a specific date) to remind that the client, supplier, agency hasnt respond us. (could be a little bell from the quick menu).

    What do you think of

    - replacing Freedcamp bookmarks https://freedcamp.com/Freedcamp_LxR/Freedcamp_Devel_yOf/wiki/wiki_public/view/blcab with pinned items. The difference will be – you can pin pages, comments and add a short description as to why you pinned it (optional).

    - adding reminders with snooze capability – again it can be set on an item or comment with optional text. A reminder will show as a browser notification and on the Freedcamp notification page.
    Singular view to all your reminders and pinned.

    Questions: Do you want to set reminders for others as well?

    Workarounds: you can always use https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/reminders/aplgdhgdhfeipojcjbhchmolaolealnd or similar as a workaround

  4. I know you can use online tools to enable a form of dark mode for the web app of Freedcamp (as per a Freedcamp blog post - https://blog.freedcamp.com/2018/11/07/dark-mode-freedcamp/).

    However, I'd love to see this option built in to the web app as a user option! And if that's done I imagine it would enable dark mode for desktop, which I see another user has suggested elsewhere -> https://freedcamp.uservoice.com/forums/126945-suggestions-for-features/suggestions/36724246-desktop-application-dark-mode.

  5. There are many task completions I do not need to know. Ideal if somehow we can preselect the types of notifications to receive and able to turn it off and on easily. I'm getting task completion notifications I don't need to know about. I only want notifications on task I'm working on and tasks I'm tagged with.

  6. Create a catalogue of your products that you can then use to create orders(tasks).

    Integrate this into the invoicing. then you have a full Order Management system.

  7. Add the ability to connect "quarterly milestones (key results)" to annual milestones. This would allow for annual and X year target milestones to track quarterly progress

  8. There are times here we need to schedule a task for the last weekday of the month. Currently there is no way to schedule a task other than on a way of week or day of the month. Would it be possible to add "First Weekday" and "Last Weekday" of the month?

  10. Currently in the Tasks Board, subtasks are ALWAYS attached to tasks. Only main tasks are sorted in first instance. That makes it impossible to sort all tasks regardless if they are a main task or a subtask of any level. That's why I would like to see a toggle in 'Tasks Board > Settings > Display' with the name 'Detached subtasks'.

    If toggle 'Detached subtasks' is ON, then:

    • Subtasks will be detached from their parent tasks and all tasks will be sorted as adjusted (e.g. by Due Date), no matter if the individual task is a main task or a…

  13. Be able to set the Date Created manually - so invoices can be created in advance and not be tied to the day you physically created it. This is actually the most important part as create date seems to be set in stone.

  14. two predefined sets of tasks of which on is used when a specific condition is met.
    For example: we are YES doing the shipment for customers, or we are NO not doing the shipment for customers.
    Both require a different set of tasks.

    It would be most helpful if there was an option to choose a set of tasks based on that specific switch

  15. it would be so nice if Open office or some other software was integrated into Freedcamp so that teams can work on a document simultaneously without having to up and dowload versions! please :)

  17. I very frequently use drag and drop to convert tasks into subtasks, and when my list is fairly small, I don't need to sort it. But when my list becomes bigger, and I need to sort it, I can't drag and drop tasks anymore, instead having to edit the tasks I want to move. The only option I have is to edit each task individually.

  18. Since we are working from distance because of pandemic, using digital whiteboards is very popular now. I believe it will become a trend which sticks with us in future too.

    It will be very useful to have integrations with Miro or Mural platforms.

  19. In my AGENDA, if a task due date is on a previous date, it disappears. It would be incredibly helpful for the homepage AGENDA to have a section above the current date that indicates "past due" items - along with the date the item was originally due. Perhaps this section would grow large and be overwhelming for some people, so having an easy way to toggle it on and off would be helpful to some.

    Showing it the Calendar (Agenda) will be a bit weird I think. What if we will show them in the Work section above the CURRENT WORKLOAD paragraph as OVERDUE? But it will be only your own overdue items.

    You can also get access to all overdue items on the Tasks Board by creating a saved search to show you all overdue items with two clicks (select status In Progress or No Progress and Due date in the past).
