  5. It would be great to make it possible to upload folders and subfolders into the Files app. This will save a lot of time for me and other users of Freedcamp.

  8. Now if you move a project to another project group, its URL changes because it uses the group name in the URL. It would be nice to have a constant URL for project regardless of its group

  9. I’m testing Freedcamp now, and am very happy with the overall features. One thing that would really help is being able to change the color of the header bar (bright blue) to something less distracting. I often leave Basecamp open in a browser window while working, so am also trying that with Freedcamp, but that blue bar keeps pulling my eyes over. And not in a good way. Thanks for your time!

  10. We often get two or three notifications in a row for a task:
1: that it has had comment added
    2. that it has been started
    3. that it has been completed.

Sometimes the users click the wrong button and they end up resetting it back to not-started, generating another notification!

So many emails leads to them being ignored.

Could these and other updates be combined somehow?
Perhaps the changes could be buffered and then sent as in one email only if there actually is a change.

Or could the interface be tweaked to avoid separate actions:.

  12. It would be nice to have a feature which would allow to connect Freedcamp with outlook account, things like tasks - accept decline, deadlines, notifications, etc.
I do understand that you want people to use your interface but I think that your interface is for project managers and not for the people who are carrying specific tasks. For them it should be as easy as possible to work with data assigned by project manager and by connecting your app with outlook you would make it.

Just my thoughts ;) otherwise great job guys finally a great and user friendly app…

  13. The ability to set overall project priorities and due dates would be awesome. Currently you can only do this for To-Do's which is great. However, when you have a lot of future projects (over 100 for me) rearranging them manually or alphabetically is a real pain. This would make future projects much easier to plan for.

  14. Sometimes after I have worked for a while I see I have completed multiple todos or I make a kind of short list in the active todo tab for things I want to finish today. At other times I want to archive completed todos to a sub group I have created. In these cases it would be very nice to have an option to edit to-dos in bulk.

This could be done by selecting multiple to-dos and drag, or a pop-up menu asking me what I want to do with the selection. I'd prefer the first when I want to…

This feature is part of our tasks page redesign, which is now available in List and Kanban view. You can switch to it by clicking the cogwheel icon and selecting “New Tasks Beta > Switch”

The Bulk Edit option will be at the top of the page, next to the filters.

  15. When receiving an email in GMail, it would be great to be able to just click a button which adds a task to Freedcamp.

Some sort of similar functionality to the "Add to Tasks" button in GMail, but with options to assign to a certain project, plus all the other usual to-do options.

Could be implemented via an extension in Chrome/Firefox or something like that. Or could google enable it through a labs feature?
