  3. List the tasks of the group in the right side panel, while working on a task

    I'm working on a slow connection (China) and it's a drag to go back and forth from a task to the task list.
    It would be great if all tasks of a project would be listed in a widget to the right of the screen, so that I can go to another task in the project without having to go back to the tasks screen again. (I'm not kidding - it takes 10 seconds...)

  5. Type in a due date instead of scrolling through calendar

    My team schedules most tasks out months in advance, and I feel like I am losing a lot of time having to scroll through months of the calendar when assigning due dates. While I can type in a date in the field, it does not allow me to select that as a due date. Could there please be a way to type in a due date and select it instead of having to scroll through months of the calendar every time we need a new date?

    As a follow-up, have you given thought to allowing users to update due dates…

    It is possible – please see my response I created in our blog for you: http://blog.freedcamp.com/2017/03/07/how-to-add-start-and-end-dates-by-typing-dates/

    Regarding: “have you given thought to allowing users to update due dates instead of deleting and reassigning dates when schedules change?”

    - totally possible via ‘edit task’ or by dragging and dropping new date in Tasks List view to a task – it will replace previously set date.

    It would be nice for each user to have the ability to create a personalized profile that contains things like their full name, website name, link, and social media links.

  7. Timestamp of last changes in the task

    It would be very useful for us to see right from the preview when the task was modified/submitted as done. Now one has to go to tasks page to see the details such as the date of latest modification.

  8. Blue highlighted text hard to read

    When trying to edit a task or anything, the blue highlight (Freedcamp's brand colour) makes the previous information (in black type) hard to read. Maybe it could be a percentage of the brand colour?

  9. Project Group View on Calendar Board

    I would like to be able to see filtered results based on Project Groups, not just projects. I have it set up so each of my companies is a Project Group, so it would be awesome to select just one of them and see it's calendar or task board as a whole, without my other companies showing up.

  10. Categorization for Time Records

    There isn't a way to separate the time records for billing purposes. Currently I have to put the category I want as the first word of the time record followed by a -. When using the time export for reporting purposes I have to manually move Text-to-Column in the .xls file and hope there are no other - symbols in my column. It would be great if it would let us set up categories, or let us pick the task group for the project.

  11. Widgets: Add 'Unassigned' option to Tasks widget

    It would be good to have a view of all tasks that are unassigned. The widget Tasks currently allows only the selection of "All" or of any given user, but currently there is no way to get a view of all the tasks that are Unassigned. Having a widget for Unassigned Tasks would help prevent any task from getting overlooked.

  13. New module - hidden notes

    Imagine that you're a team manager (just like me) and you're doing some task.

    I'm attaching a task to someone, let's say that his name is Ivan.
    And I would like to describe something that concerns only me and the task, not Ivan, so he should not see this.

    For example, it may be something about the pricing or something about the client that we're doing with.

    Something that should remain hidden for some reason, hidden notes.

    I want to be able to plan two or three projects one after the other or in parallel, as it often is so that my recreational projects often extend over a long period of time.

  16. Epics / Labels

    I would be super if you could add like JIRA currently has it where you can assign tasks to a Epic (this could also be called label), so you can assign tasks to different groups.

    For example:

    I have a task group called Sounds
    In this I have several different tasks for different stuff (UI, Levels, etc.).

    It would be awesome to be able to split these into groups so when I look for UI stuff I can just click the label to open all the tasks inside that label for all different task groups.

  17. Mobile View: enhance Global Task Board functionality

    Would be awesome to be able to update Due Date, Priority and Assigned directly from Task Board in mobile view. Currently, I can only remove the before mentioned task details.

  18. A certain page for workflows (templates)

    I created projects as a template, I do not want to show them in my dashboard because i only use them as a tempate. (this is a function i liked in redbooth, but i would love freed camp to have this option!)

    Hi,

    You can mark template as completed project and you will not see it anywhere except Manage Projects page. You can still use completed project as a source to make a new one without un-archiving.

  19. Have option to archive completed tasks in one go.

    Multi select on items is a key, while moving them or while archiving(option required) right now there is no choice but to delete the tasks that are complete.

    Hi Sagar,

    We allow:

    - archive task groups not individual tasks
    - use saved filters to show tasks say completed not earlier than 14 weeks ago effectively filtering old completed tasks and still showing recently completed tasks.

    We do not plan to allow to archive individual tasks.
