  1. I have a prioritizing system set up with my clients where "High Priority" is for tasks that need to be sent through regardless of budget concerns, "Medium Priority" is for tasks that may be sent through without consultation if we estimate the cost as below a set threshhold, and "Low Priority" is for tasks that will not be done without further consultation.

    Ideally some kind of separate function would be better for this though, with a separate drop down containing something like "Approved," "Conditionally Approved," and "Pending Review."

  2. Would be great to import CSV, as I saw another users comments, but if could be possible only to copy and paste from Excel manually, it would be awsome. More than Tasky application I imagine.

I've been evaluating freecamp against basecamp, because I'd like to switch to freedcamp, but there is one really helpful feature that I rely on more than anything else everyday in basecamp that freedcamp doesn't have, and that's a way to view my tasks in a way that helps me get through the work in the right order.

    Freedcamp does have a start on this with the My Tasks widget and that is headed in the right direction but it's far too basic. In basecamp, when I view all my tasks, there is a time range selector at the top which…

  4. In addition to lack of start/duration/end time information, need to include
    - who is invited (optional, mandatory)
    - allow users to indicate attendance yes/maybe/no
    - allow discussion directly related to the event

  5. In my case, having Google Translate integrated directly into all of the text input fields would be very useful. My team includes folks from around the world with varying degrees of English comprehension. An option for both front and end users of translating discussions and instructions on demand would prove very useful.

    Google Translate's capabilities have vastly improved.

  7. Hello,

    It would be great if Tasks could be assigned numbers which act as a Task ID. Also a search functionality for tasks since the list can get really long and it is tedious to browse through the complete list to search for a specific task.

    Please let me know if such a functionality currently exists and I am unaware.

  8. Often times we have clients that do not log into Freedcamp, but we still manage the project within Freedcamp.

    We would like to be able to create users without email addresses. This would allow us to add a 'dummy' user to the system and assign tasks to them. We would then be able to export our todos and provide status/project updates to our clients.

  10. Currently for sub tasks, you can assign just a title. Would be good to be able to assign detailed description and different assignees for subtasks such that one person can own a task and delegate aspects of it to others.

  11. In the notifications panel, when you expand a task to see the latest update/message, you must scroll down to get to the buttons for "view item" or "mark as read". I think there should be a way to click into the task right from the title bar of the task in notifications.

    A simple "view item" link or button on the right margin of the title bar for each task would suffice. Many of my tasks have a lot of replies on it, so it's a pain in the butt to have to scroll down just to get to the…

  12. That way if a project gets put on hold (say for 2 weeks), all related milestones, to-dos, etc would be automatically pushed back 14 days, without having to go into each to-do and milestone individually.

  14. A lot of my to dos are duplicates of a task but with slightly different specific information such as ad numbers or names to be completed. Would make adding them a lot faster to simply be able to copy the whole the whole to do and simply change a couple of words.

  16. It would be great to be able to have more export options like from one project, the to-dos - events - milestones at the same time.
    Or even better for "multi-projects managment" to be able to export the event of various project to have an overview of the deadlines we have of all our project.

    We will do better integration between Issue Tracker and Tasks later on to allow you to link a task to an Issue and Issue to a task and see updates when linked item is completed.

    Imagine you have 5 duplicate issues reported by different people and created one task to fix. As soon as that task is completed you will get updates in all 5 tickets that you can tell customers that problem was fixed.

  18. When you are in your dashboard and there has been changes you do not realize about them unless you refress the page...

    Same happens with the tasks, When you are working in one task and there is a new comment, you do not realize about it unless you refresh the page.

    Some ideas:


    • every 10 seconds, if the page is inactive, it refresh automatically

    • Put a button in the dashboard and in the tasks to refresh the page

  19. It would be nice to offer a white label version for companies wanting to collaborate with clients. Perhaps add a White label item to the marketplace, it could be a one time fee or a monthly charge.

  20. Allow to change the status and priority using the calendar view.(i.e by an propertie icon)
    It would be very useful to allow that without need to edit the task.
