An Admin for a group site - Company ABC or Class 123 (Great options!)
First off, I love this product!.... but it really needs a master Admin.
Problems:
- Sharing groups across multiple users
- Having users add projects to the group
- Deleting users while keeping projects
- Administering group policies across the "company/class" siteSolution:
Have an enterprise/class option that allows a company or classroom to hold the data and assign a main admin to configure access and users.
It would look like:
Company (or class for schools)
- Admin (read/write/administer users and groups)
- Manager (read/write/administer group assigned)
- User (read/write)
-Viewer (read/comment)It can be elaborated on but right now…

Backlog Management
Often when you inherit a project - there are lot of outstanding tasks/user-stories. As a project manager - you want to put all these tasks in a 'Backlog'. Then analyse each one of them for 'completeness - that is specifications are there, etc', relevancy, priority and then push a few of them from backlog to 'active task list' for scheduling.
18 votesSure – create task list called Backlog or tag items as ‘backlog’

Show last invite message used for a project when inviting again
It would be great if you could either see a message you used to invite a past guest or save a standard invite message by project

More bb-code in description
It will be cool if task description have little more bb-code like checklist,
because some task progress is not a sub-task
And will be great to have description for subtasks2 votesWe have bullet list in both tasks and subtasks-pro descriptions. Free subtasks do not have descriptions.

A quick "Complete" button
Something to allow for an immediate "Complete", as some tasks to not require an "In Progress" state!
3 votesHi,
We have plenty of ways to complete task quickly.
In List view:
- click twice on task’s icon each task starts with to set ‘Complete’
OR
- drag complete label from right side panel to a taskIn Kanban view – just drag task from No progress column to Completed column.
You can email me if any questions.

"Stoplight" status associated with tasks that could be assigned manually and then displayed on a dashboard
It would be nice to have a "stoplight" status associated with tasks that could be assigned manually and then displayed on a separate dashboard. This way we could have our internal notes and tasks, but have an overall "red/yellow/green" status we can display to our clients.

Discussions - add filters and sorting like in Tasks
I would like to be able to have a sort feature on the discussions page so that I can see only discussions which involves a specific person or persons. For instance I want to see only discussions where a Wiktor J. was included or commented. Or only discussions where Wiktor and Mark both commented.

Project Summary Page
Ability to create a page that summarises the project. At the moment I am putting a "summary" discussion topic in to do it. This is for someone who is new to the project to have an overview. It would be great if it cam with a basic wysiwyg html editor (just to add text, tables and images). Thanks

Time Tracker - move 'Reset' action away to prevent tracked time loss due to an accidental click
The timer reset icon being right next to the play/pause button is not good. I have accidentally clicked it a couple times now. First time I lost track completely the time that was there...luckily the second time I saw the number. I kind of think it should only be on the edit screen.

Reorder subtasks
Currently subtasks are ordered based on how they were added. It would be good to be able to change the order of the subtasks manually.
12 votesHi,
I posted it in a blog so others can benefit from it too – http://blog.freedcamp.com/2016/09/13/free-subtasks-upgrades/
Reorder is simply drag and drop however if you set sorting order to a value different that ‘Set order’ drag and drop elements will not be shown (see the second animated gif in my post). You can still however edit a task and convert it to a subtask or to a task or change parent task.Cheers,

Tasks - "compact view"
The task view is find for projects that only have a few tasks or task groups. However when you have a large number of tasks or task groups, it would be nice to be able to set it to 'compact' view to see more on screen. A bit like the way gmail has a compact view.

Easier Access to Widgets Page
It would be nice to still have access to the normal dashboard as well as the widgets dashboard - there's plenty of space in the navigation to add it as an extra item up there so that it's an easy 1 click to get to it.

All done now – http://blog.freedcamp.com/2016/01/21/set-your-home-page-in-freedcamp/
