  1. It seems like a no-brainer to have badges on the card icons for files, discussions, and tasks. They could be configurable like other notifications for users. The intention would be to indicate new items added to files, new discussion posts, and task comments or priority changes.

  2. It may be useful to include a different number format. For example: in Germany there is "1.123,45 Euro" common instead of "€ 1123.45 " (see the different position of the currency label too).

  3. In the "Tasks" widget, show the description of the task in front of its subtasks. For example if I have two tasks of "Update Antivirus" and "Install OS Updates", both with subtasks of "Computer 1", "Computer 2" and "Computer 3", all I see in the tasks widget is the two tasks and two sets of "Computer #"

It would be clearer if the task list showed something like
"Update Antivirus / Computer 1" and
"Install OS Updates / Computer 1"
    rather than just
    "Computer 1"
    "Computer 1"

  4. I noticed it's been slightly annoying for having to go back to the Widgets Board to view recent activity. What if the recent activity of a project is displayed above tasks and other app tabs? So you can view just recent activity of just that project so it takes out the extra step of going back to the Widget Board and scanning through the recent activity on the Widget Board. The recent activity on the Widget Board is great to view it as a whole but it would be awesome to also be able to see it by the project…

  5. It would be great if tasks with no priority set were treated as tasks with "medium" priority.
    Here is why:
I have 20 tasks assigned to me, 5 of them are not urgent, or require additional info from collaborators to be solved.
Right now, if I mask those 5 tasks as "low priority" they will, for some reason, stay on top in my tasks widget, above tasks with no priority set.

  6. Usersnap.com is a powerful site feedback tool that usually ignites to-do lists and bug fixes on sites. Seems like a natural ally with Freecamp. Will you provide integration with them?

  7. I made a really useful structure for my projects, but i need to see the task group in the calendar. Else i have to open (view item) each task to see which group it belongs to.

Please add the task group name to the header.
    Thanks!

  9. I am seeing when I have multiple projects and view my calendar I can see all events for all projects. The Problem I am seeing is that those times are not organized by time. If we could fix that somehow that would be great.

  10. It would be helpful to deciding who should be notified, or assigned, etc., to know what User Role they of which they are a part. This is especially the case with the addition of "Read Only" users in a project.

  11. Only just started looking at freedcamp as an alternative to basecamp so apologies if I have missed something.

The feeds are a great way to do reports. However we use GSuite and can share documents in a fairly granular manner appropriate to our company structure. This granularity cannot be matched by the feed output.

  12. We have a lot of projects to manage simultaniously and today noticed that we had accidentally added the same project twice. It would be useful to have a feature which prevents duplicate project names for the same project group.

  14. Instead of links for view, send, edit, and delete on the Invoices page, could we have actual buttons? The current links are so small and close together that it's very easy to click the wrong one and accidentally send an invoice that you intended to edit (something I have obviously done - doh!). Also, when creating or editing an invoice, how about replacing the "just save, don't email" checkbox with a button next to Save that says "Save without emailing"? The checkbox is very small and hard to notice which means clients often get emails about invoices that aren't yet…

  15. Right now email notification start with a large subject line which is very redundant. I.e.

[Investing Discussions] <Subject of the message>

When I look at my inbox I see a lot of repetitive {Investing Discussion] but I do not see what I am really interested in, the Subject. This redundant portion should be shrunk to a minimal code i.e.

    • get rid of the [ ] which do not carry information
    • use just 4-5 letter code xID consistently
    • leave more space for the message.
    • If you really need you can append the whole [Investing Discussions] (might be useful for filters) but…

  16. With the up and coming Android app that is being funded on Kickstarter, I would really like to see Google Now/Google Assistant integration so I can put in or speak something along the lines of...

    "Add a task to _"

...and have it added to the most recent project, or perhaps be able to choose which one. I know other to-do list apps have this functionality and I think it would be very beneficial to Freedcamp.

Here is a link describing the kind of integration I desire.

  17. It would be great to have sorting and grouping options for the task lists in the iOS app. The current task listing in the iOS app is fixed to group by projects, which makes it hard to check open issues across all projects.

My personal wish would be to somehow get a global ToDo list in the app, similar to what is offered in the "My tasks" web widget. This allows to check the list of urgent things as part of the morning routine.

One idea is to add a configuration option for the "Tasks" view in the app (second…

  18. Many times we create a number of task groups and then have to go into discussions and recreate all the same groups that we created in tasks (and vice versa). It would be awesome if we had an option to "apply group to tasks and discussions" OR at least some mechanism to copy task groups to discussion groups or copy discussion groups to task groups.
