Gantt chart - display events
Events should appear in Gantt chart overview to prevent conflicting events/tasks. An event is just a planned fixed task. It would help scheduling to be able to see those events within the Gantt chart view without having to duplicate the event as a separate task.

A detailed activity log
Currently in the "Activity" widget, we can see that a change was made to a specific item/task, but we cannot see exactly what was changed. It would be good if we could see the old value versus the updated value.
For example: user X changed the due date of task Y from Z to W.Also, the activity is currently limited to 20 rows; what about the rest?

Google shared drives (formerly known as Team Drives) integration
We use GSuite Business and have access to Team Drives. It allows us to store all of our files on the Team Drive and give those in our organization access to that drive without having to share each folder or file. There is already integration with Google Drive. Integration with GSuite Team Drive would be great.

Mobile app - access documents files from ios app
It would be usefull to access document files from the ios app so that when on the go I can still access files within a project
9 votesYou can download attachments and preview images without downloading them. Opening files shared on cloud drives (Google Drive, Dropbox etc.) by opening associated mobile applications or browsers (if no associated app is found) will be added in 2020.

Managing Freedcamp Users
I couldn't see any place to manage all existing Freedcamp users. There should be a place to see all existing users in our system and we should be able to manage them. Can you please help?

Mobile app - Daily Recap
The mobile app needs the Daily Recap page like on the Desktop version.

Team Management Area
Would be good to have an area where you could add and manage team members, assign permissions, edit details, add social profiles, add projects etc.
This would differ to the current offering as it would allow 'global' access and editing for each team member, as opposed to doing this within projects (which is how it seems to currently work).

Outlook integration - create new items, update existing ones by email
Plugin for Outlook allows you to convert an email with attachments and details into a project/task. This would be brilliant to have in Freedcamp as I prefer the layout and the features.

Mobile app - Time Tracking
Ability to track time per task/project on mobile app would make this a winner for my team! Having to go back to desktop site makes it inefficient. Thx!

SMS Notifications Improvements
Currently SMS Notifications come from different Phone Numbers, This can get very annoying as my team completes tasks throughout the day or post comments, I get a separate number texting me that information. In order to look through what was done I have to go to each different sender rather then just scrolling through one chain.
The information in those texts are not very helpful either. It would be fantastic if the text provided: Project, Task, Who, and what they posted or a link to what they posted. rather then just telling me they posted a comment.

13 votesWe will add a link to open an item in Freedcamp to SMS messages in the next Freedcamp release. We do not plan to improve this part of the system that is now superseded by our mobile applications – their push notifications and notifications page that conveys what was changed and by whom much better.

Comments - collapse old comments
The comment section is getting long inside the task, and I want to collapse old comments to keep it short but not deleting the comments.

Highlighting in rich text
Please add some way to mark text inside paragraphs.
I need some form of highlighting text other than using bold, italics,underline and strike through, one that doesn't require me to split the text into paragraphs just to mark one word with a different style. Pick whatever works for your ideology. Yellow background, color, pre-tags inside paragraphs, etc.

Subtaks Date
It would be helpful if you had the option to assign all Subtasks the same due date as the Task without having to do each Subtask individually.

Tasks - show who and when started task if it is In Progress
Currently each task shows completed date & created date. If it shows start progress date, we can measure completion duration for each task

Resource capacity planner
Hi, it would be really great to have a "ressource capacity planner". We are a team of 15, building very small to large (10 months) projects, and we have to find a way to know the ressource occupation in the team, so we can assign the person a task.
