  1. There should be a possibility to add an estimate on how long the TODO/Task should potentially take, while adding.

Track also the date/time when the TODO/task was Started (similar to one where it tracks when it ended) or even allow the same to be specified at any other point of time.

Also display the time difference between the "started" and "completed" times for the task

  3. Let projects have sub-projects which are can be projects themselves. This also gets rid of the "Group". So top level project A has A1, A2, A3 as sub-projects, and A1 may further have subprojects A1.1, A1.2, .. and so on

  4. I would love to be able to sync my Google calendar (both ways) with Freedcamp to allow me to see events that I create in Google Calendar in our Freedcamp, as well as items that I create within Freedcamp on my Google calendar (e.g. 2-way sync). This would be especially helpful when creating events that require invitations to be sent to people who are not Freedcamp users, (e.g. clients) and would allow us to easily duplicate events easily into other (e.g. Personal) Google calendars.

  7. In Discussion tab I have the open topics (discussion) my team and I are discussing.

    I give you an example:

We are 4 people inside a topic in the discussion tab. There are a lot of comments from everyone.

In the discussion tab all topics that receive a new comments are moved to the top and on the right of them I can see who wrote last.

Sometimes I get confused and I don't know if I have already looked at some comments or not.

It would be much better if all topics in the discussion tab I didn't open…

  9. In some cases it is beneficial to see new Tasks on top. For example, I have a list of Completed Tasks, but the most recently completed items are at the bottom of the list!
I would also like to be able to sort by project, for widgets that include Tasks from multiple projects.

We are already working now on a new concept called Dashboards that will support the Summary widget (pie, bar, battery, or card output), Table, and Buttons widgets. Essentially dashboards are custom reports and you can create as many dashboards as you need with as many widgets with drag and drop capability to set your perfect layout. Eventually, Dashboards will supersede the Widgets page. Dashboards can be private, shared with all team members (new members will see it too) or selected team members. Initially, dashboards will be added to the Enterprise plan.

  10. Cloudeforge has an integrate featute for many apps including Basecamp. It wpuld be great if you can work out a way to ne able to integrate Freedcamp with cloudforge.

    Hi All!

We decided to start with Wall application to see how many people will participate and what issues will arise and will add more words and phrases as we go.

We would like to build relationships with most active users helping us and nominated moderator (a team or individual) which will work with us and be a trusted source managing a community of translators for a particular language. We will definitely reward most active users with great life-time upgrades and will post your names on Freedcamp’s new sponsors and supporters hall of fame page.

Thanks for helping us out! Please join here – http://translate.freedcamp.com/collaboration/ and follow the prompts.

    Cheers,
    Igor
    CTO & More @freedcamp.com :)

  13. Please add a per-project dashboard. I want a default view that shows the latest activity in each area, so that it's easy to find new information/posts in one project.

  14. More colour in the design to make navigation easier.

In a previous job we used Asana and I was all at sea with it, until I discovered the themes that could be installed. They helped me visually sort out the sections quickly.

Freedcamp is not nearly as complex but I think it could look more attractive.

  15. It would be a nice feature to have a message or sms alert - "Did you forget to clock out?" in case the computer sees you have been working on something for more than 24 hours. You could set it yourself to 48 or more hours, in case you are on a deadline and really are working on it for x hours straight.

I think there is a lot of value in this. We are hoping with Version 3’s api people would develop third party desktop applications to help you with type of things. So the application would track if you are still working on computer and after x minutes of inactivity can just turn time off. I will add this in our list of things to consider for improving the time application. Thank you.

  16. It would be super to have markdown support for comments and discussions. Any flavor would be nice, such as github style

  18. If there was an employee scheduling app or schedule maker that included a time card and time calculation, I would pay for it immediately. My employees are already trained to check in to FreedCamp.. why would I want to send them to one more site to clock in and out of work?

I've checked with several accounting add-ons to our other programs and none have a time-card, even payroll services do not! HUGE HUGE HOLE in the market that no one is filling well, or those who are want $100's a month and are missing out on business due to…

  20. Would like to be able to hit a button and start/stop to log time against a project, with a description of what I was working on. Toggl.com is currently the best implementation of this idea that I'm aware of. Would gladly pay for similar functionality, at the kind of prices now being offered in the marketplace. This would easily integrate into the current "Time" feature, though--seems a logical extension.

Apologies for similarity to existing suggestions—just doesn't seem it's been expressed quite this way before.

We have Time Tracking application which does what Toggle does. Any clarifications are very much appreciated.

BTW We have another suggestion posted with more votes to integrate Tasks and Time tracking.

    Cheers,
    Igor
