  3. As far as I can see there are no way to set default notifications for new discussions. At my group some people tend to forget to check of the users they want to notify when they start a new discussion (should normally be all). It would have been great if I (as an admin) could force all new discussions to by default have all users checked for email notifications!

  4. In the Calendar View, DAY/List view, It would be great if you could add columns for what PROJECT the task is located in, and WHO the task is assigned to. To only see the task without that context doesn't give the full picture.

  5. everybody has phones with them, so having an app where there are not just tasks, but a chatting option as well, for the team members, will sort out many problems, such as asking for help, find out the reasons behind a delay and status update.

  6. It would be beneficial to have a central file storage area for files that are used across multiple projects and would not have to be uploaded into multiple projects. Access permissions by project and user would be required.

  8. Managing email notifications is not intuitive. Email notifications are without a doubt, overwhelming as they are issued for every, every, every little thing. Freedcamp generates way too many notifications.

Notifications go out for change of status, for change of assignment and so on, yet it is not crystal clear in the email that gets received as to why exactly the notification is issued because the notification contains the entire task -- task headers and entire comment thread. My clients hate the email notifications and therefore disregard them completely. I have setup Gmail filters to essentially send all/any incoming Freedcamp messages…

Will it help if we allow to invite people and define their notification level for projects you invite them to? In this case, you will invite people with ‘none’ and they will be using a new Notifications page to catch up?

  9. It would be great if there was a way to share a discussion through a public link. This would be good way to share info with clients that are reluctant to create a freedcamp account to access it. This way we have to continue to use email to have discussions.

Cheers and good work so far!

  10. place groups with one project beside each othe instead of below each other.

I have a lot of groups that have one or two projects. And a few that have 10 projects or more.

So I have to do a lot of scrolling in the project view, while 80% of my screen is empty.

Can the CSS be changed so that project groups flow left to right, keeping groups together?

  12. Is it possible to unread a notification after I read it? I use the notification sort of as a task list, and some actions require some thinking after I read the notification. I was wondering if I could unread the notification so that the notification will always show up in the notification.

  14. I like to keep a record of important information sent to me about a project. At the moment I do this with OneNote from within Outlook. I would like to be able to email in an email to a Wiki for a project so I can keep track of important information exchanged via email without having to download and upload into the Wiki.

  16. Currently when you use the Project Template plugin it only works correctly if you base your project dates Due Dates. When we setup projects ours are based on Start Date. So if we try to setup a project using the plugin we have to enter ALL dates by hand.

We can't be the only one who uses start dates with the project template plugin.

  17. In my AGENDA, if a task due date is on a previous date, it disappears. It would be incredibly helpful for the homepage AGENDA to have a section above the current date that indicates "past due" items - along with the date the item was originally due. Perhaps this section would grow large and be overwhelming for some people, so having an easy way to toggle it on and off would be helpful to some.

Showing it the Calendar (Agenda) will be a bit weird I think. What if we will show them in the Work section above the CURRENT WORKLOAD paragraph as OVERDUE? But it will be only your own overdue items.

You can also get access to all overdue items on the Tasks Board by creating a saved search to show you all overdue items with two clicks (select status In Progress or No Progress and Due date in the past).

If you want to see overdue to start – select ‘No Progress’ and Start date in the past

  18. I know you can use online tools to enable a form of dark mode for the web app of Freedcamp (as per a Freedcamp blog post - https://blog.freedcamp.com/2018/11/07/dark-mode-freedcamp/).

However, I'd love to see this option built in to the web app as a user option! And if that's done I imagine it would enable dark mode for desktop, which I see another user has suggested elsewhere -> https://freedcamp.uservoice.com/forums/126945-suggestions-for-features/suggestions/36724246-desktop-application-dark-mode.

    Thanks!

  19. Would like the ability to have the same colors for groups in case I want all projects within that group to be the same color. Ex: All projects within Group A to have Color1; All projects within Group B to have Color2.....without having to do this manually, one by one, as it is done now.

It would be great to be able to choose a group-specific color within the edit menu for the group.
