2. Calendar events should show in My Work on Homepage

   As we cannot enter times for task, we are using the Calendar Event function for this. It would be good if anyone assigned/invited to a calendar event also sees this in the 'My Work' summary on the homepage dashboard.

5. Gmail add-on - Search for tasks by Tags and Add Tags to Tasks

   Searching for tasks by tag would be helpful in the gmail add - as would adding existing or new tags to tasks which would save time when creating or editing tasks.

6. Outlook add-on - Integration with CRM

   The Outlook Addin is ripe for integration with CRM - we would need to be able to add contacts easily, and move contacts along a pipeline based on the email received.

7. Global task view settings

   It would be convenient to be able to set task view (list/kanban) globally. Right now I have to configure task view per project which can be somewhat annoying considering the amount of projects I'm part of.

8. Share only calendar titles

   Hey,
   Could it be possible, when I add my calendar on google agenda for exemple, to choose to share only events titles ? For exemple, I don't want to share what projet or group of projet each event belongs to. Neither do I want the description.

10. The ability to import Evernote's .enex files

    Evernote is self-destructing. They released a complete re-write of their app way before it was ready and they are losing many many customers, including me. I have THOUSANDS of notes in Evernote. and I am trying to get off of Evernote completely. That's how I found Freedcamp and I love it.

    Currently the only way I can get stuff out of Evernote without cutting and pasting is to email a note into a task list or discussion and I have been doing that one at a time. But it is a SLOW process.

    Evernote can export notes in bulk into an XML file format called. .enex. So it would be AWESOME to be able to import a .enex file into Freedcamp.

    Notes in Evernote can have reminders. So I guess it makes sense to import the .enex file into Freedcamp as a new task list in a project.

    But for my use case, what I'd really like is to be able to import a .enex file into a wiki list. (with some sort of warning that reminders on the notes in the .enex file will be discarded). A wiki list just feels closer to an Evernote notebook than a task list.

    As I said there are LOTS of people searching for Evernote alternatives these days. And Freedcamp is a very compelling option. ESPECIALLY when you compare per user pricing between Freedcamp and Evernote and Notejoy etc. Freedcamp is a MUCH MUCH better VALUE for the money.

    So a tool to facilitate easy migration from Evernote into Freedcamp plus a little bit of marketing could be a big win for Freedcamp.

    Seriously, someone in Freedcamp business development needs to look into this and run the numbers. I am sure there is a compelling business case here.

11. Role "type" assignments for Project Templates (Like how process.st has)

    We have standard templates for employee onboarding, client onboarding, etc. Each template has sections where different departments/employees work off of. So every time we run an instance of a template, everytime someone from a particular department gets assigned to a certain project, I have to invite that person to join the project, bulk select all the tasks, and then assign. This is repetitive for different roles/users on most of our onboarding projects.

    It would be nice if tasks could be preselect with "role types" e.g. Sales, Account managers, Operations, etc. Then when a copy of a project is done, I can select "John Doe" as the sales rep, "Jane Doe" as the account manager, etc. And all the tasks get automatically assigned according to their preset role types, rather than having to manually assign everytime.

    This would really save us a lot of time. Thanks!

12. Drag and drop sorted tasks

    I very frequently use drag and drop to convert tasks into subtasks, and when my list is fairly small, I don't need to sort it. But when my list becomes bigger, and I need to sort it, I can't drag and drop tasks anymore, instead having to edit the tasks I want to move. The only option I have is to edit each task individually.

13. Flat view option for Tasks Board

    Currently in the Tasks Board, subtasks are ALWAYS attached to tasks. Only main tasks are sorted in first instance. That makes it impossible to sort all tasks regardless if they are a main task or a subtask of any level. That's why I would like to see a toggle in 'Tasks Board > Settings > Display' with the name 'Detached subtasks'.

    If toggle 'Detached subtasks' is ON, then:

    • Subtasks will be detached from their parent tasks and all tasks will be sorted as adjusted (e.g. by Due Date), no matter if the individual task is a main task or a subtask or a subsubtask (and so on).

    • If you are in "List" view, after each subtask title it needs attached the title of its parent task in light gray (e.g. "subtask title < parent task title"). Also, it would be nice to have an identifier for the level of the subtask.

    • If you are in "Table" view, a separate column called 'Parent Task' should show the task that is one level higher than the subtask. Also, it would be nice to have a column that shows an identifier for the level of the subtask.

    • The Kanban and Gantt view should be treated in a corresponding way.

16. Automated Workflow to trigger task creation or updating status without using zaps like trello's butler

    I love Freedcamp, but I would like it better if it can development a pipeline of work and a workflow automation like trello's butler. Zapier Is very limited as compared to what trello butler can do to the trello PM. Zaps also are prone to error at the middle of the process and may not provide the needed information at the right time. Also, another application means another pay, another management, and another thing we have to pay attention to in case something is messed up.

17. CRM - 🤝Google Contacts 2-Way Sync🤝

    All of our contacts live in Google's Contacts. Need to be able to 2-way sync with this database so all CRM information links to Google Contacts. It looks like you already have Google Calendar Sync, Google Contact sync is even more important. As many Google Contact fields as possible should sync. Name, company, phone, email, address, notes, picture, etc. Thank you!!

18. Tasks - select different fields in view on each list when using Table view

    I really like the feature in table view that allows you to select the fields you want in view, works really well when using multiple custom fields. It'd be great if I could select different fields in view on each list within the board. For example list 1 showing fields abc and list 2 showing abxy and z. Hope that makes sense!
