  1. A better icon for dashboard, currently it looks like the hamburger icon, which generally depicts a menu, it wasn't obvious that it would take me to the dashboard. I thought a menu would appear.

  2. an app/function can calculate the word-count automatically after a to-do is posted. We need the function for assigning translating tasks. For the moment, we need to use Word first for counting the words, then post it. Would be nice to have it handy on Freed.

    We will do better integration between Issue Tracker and Tasks later on to allow you to link a task to an Issue and Issue to a task and see updates when linked item is completed.

    Imagine you have 5 duplicate issues reported by different people and created one task to fix. As soon as that task is completed you will get updates in all 5 tickets that you can tell customers that problem was fixed.

    If you use in a team – suggest all toi use your domain name in option 1. I tested in two different browsers on Windows and Mac emulating a team- all works as expected. I created tickets 1 and 2 and when I clicked to generate next number on Mac – number…

  5. It would be great to be able to have more export options like from one project, the to-dos - events - milestones at the same time.
    Or even better for "multi-projects managment" to be able to export the event of various project to have an overview of the deadlines we have of all our project.

  6. In addition to lack of start/duration/end time information, need to include
    - who is invited (optional, mandatory)
    - allow users to indicate attendance yes/maybe/no
    - allow discussion directly related to the event

  7. Adding a simple filter to the "Tasks" tab so you can see which tasks are related to a Milestone.

    Yes you can see the tasks in the "Milestones" tab. However it's not so clear.
    - the "tasks" tab filter breaks it down by "Task Groups"

  10. In the calendar the tasks and events are all in the same place which can make it overwhelming to differentiate between them, filtering between tasks only , events only & all would be very helpful.

  11. When i enter a task, have a button submit & new to enter a new task (or subtask) directly.
    The subtask will be attached to the same task i enter the first subtask.

  14. The timer reset icon being right next to the play/pause button is not good. I have accidentally clicked it a couple times now. First time I lost track completely the time that was there...luckily the second time I saw the number. I kind of think it should only be on the edit screen.

  15. It would be nice to have a "stoplight" status associated with tasks that could be assigned manually and then displayed on a separate dashboard. This way we could have our internal notes and tasks, but have an overall "red/yellow/green" status we can display to our clients.

    Hi,

    We have plenty of ways to complete task quickly.

    In List view:
    - click twice on task’s icon each task starts with to set ‘Complete’
    OR
    - drag complete label from right side panel to a task

    In Kanban view – just drag task from No progress column to Completed column.

  17. I’m testing Freedcamp now, and am very happy with the overall features. One thing that would really help is being able to change the color of the header bar (bright blue) to something less distracting. I often leave Basecamp open in a browser window while working, so am also trying that with Freedcamp, but that blue bar keeps pulling my eyes over. And not in a good way. Thanks for your time!

  18. When editing the title of an already created task you have to click edit. It would be awesome to be able to edit a task from overview instead of clicking on Edit button.

  20. We should be able to add some members to a category instead of adding them on each projet.
    Also, the member of a project that is in a category can't add a project in that same category, he as to create another category....
    We would like had a project in a category created by another member.
