Custom name for calendar synced tasks
The way I have setup Freedcam isn't really how it's "ment" to be used but it's a good way for me as I'm the only user.
I have the projects "Company", "Jobs", "Leads" and "Prospects".
Inside of each project I have different task-lists as categories.
E.g. under "Jobs" I have each job I'm currently working on as its own list.Right now the names in my calendar looks like this: "Recording [Jobb in Jobb]". The first Jobb I'm guessing is the group and the second Jobb is my project.
I would much rather make it read "Recording [Lost in the…3 votesYou can rename project groups and projects to make it fit your style. You can also push multiple projects to Google calendar and have them separated by the calendar in Google.

Add a "label" to a task rather than a user.
I run a lot of projects where other companies handle some of the tasks. I have all my team's tasks in Freedcamp but it would be nice for my management of a project to be able to put a few tasks in and assign them to "Agency B" where that isn't a user or anyone (as I don't want other companies with access to my projects whatsoever) but I can just see which tasks are being outsourced.
Actually, lots of us outsource things, right? It's quite useful... I could even assign a user like "Upwork" if I have some freelancer…

To be able to expand the document note taking capabilities in the task
As each task is a piece of content I wish to create.
3 votesA workaround will be to use GoogleDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox integrations to link reach format documents to your tasks. When done, even multiple people can edit it.

Tasks - sort by date with subtasks or task lists
Sometimes I add subtasks either under a main task (or within a task list) and the way I added them don't necessary correlate to the date I assigned them. I would like to be able to "sort" under a task, and all the substasks re-arrange in order of due date, instead of the non-organized way I entered them. I know I could manually re-arrange, but that would take a long time, and it would be nice if they could just auto-sort if I wanted!

Send an email to the administrator for any change in the project
It would be great to have an option to automatically send an Email for any change in the project to one administrator without possibility to quit the notification to this Email for other users.

Users community, Q/A - Discord server or subreddit for the Freedcamp users
There is no location I can find other users to ask specific use questions or talk about different ways to use the tools provided. It would also be a place for freedcamp devs to mine information.

Add an external link in project menu
Would it be possible to add a new icon in the projects menu with an external link? That way we could for example add a link to special external resources for our clients
3 votesIt can be done now with the Project Overview application and Custom Fields for Projects:

Start Date on Todo List
Why have a start date if it does not affect the to-do task list? I wish the tasks that had not gone past the start date did not show up on the list of tasks todo until the start date has arrived. I often have tasks that are days or weeks out and they still so on the to-do list on the main screen even though it is not time to do them.
3 votesYou can always filter out tasks that are far away and show only tasks that should be started or approaching that moment. You can also save this filter, name it and it will persist.

Move a task to a subtask (Android App)
It would be great if tasks could be moved as subtask to another task in the Android App and in the mobile view of the website.

Recurring Tasks Show Historical Comments
I would like the ability to have recurring tasks show historical comments. The purpose of recurring that it happens every week (or so) and so any comments that were made would be super helpful to see so that we can look back on what happened.
Or another option would be to link the discussions with the comments to track what was discussed previously.
My use case is that I use the recurring to remind me of meetings that come up and to record what happens in those meetings.
3 votesPlease use recurrent Events instead – all comments will be there historically – we use it at Freedcamp for a virtual weekly catch-up completed last week/planned for the next week (each week is one comment).

Limit height of task list swimlanes when on Kanban
When in the Kanban view of the task board, it'd be great if I could limit the vertical height of each swimlane for the task lists. Something like show the top 5 tasks in each column for this swimlane, but then only show the full expanded columns if I click a "View More" button or similar.
The problem I'm running into is that I use the "No Progress" column as a backlog and a large backlog pushes my other swimlanes way out of my view. Seeing the top few tasks would be nice so we can see the highest priority…
3 votesYou can fully collapse columns and use columns and sections https://blog.freedcamp.com/2021/05/19/introducing-custom-grouping/

Tasks - show completed subtasks with not completed parent when hide completed filter is ON
Although hide completed in ON; completed sub-task of a NOT completed Parent TASK; should still be shown
CASE:
1) "hide completed" ON:
2) AND when the parent task is NOT completed:
3) the completed sub-tasks continue to be shown.
This is very helpful to see which sub-tasks are completed before and to get more context of the MAIN tasks and its dependencies.
3 votesA workaround is provided with an option on how to see those completed subtasks

Tasks - 'Shift Dates' via Batch
I love the "Batch Edit" feature for changing due dates, start dates and status, sure makes changes a "batch" of info easier. I was wondering if you could add the ability to shift dates to the batch edit as well? There are times in larger projects that you want to shift certain dates (without a status) while leaving others along.

Have icons or emoticons for Calendar.
I Use a calendar a lot to set up meeting, schedule time off, birthday reminders, vacations. it would be great to have icons or emoticons as an options for example on the birthday event maybe a birthday hat or balloon so that way of want to overview what's going on for the month you visually can see easily what's going on.
3 votesWe recently added support for emojis in item titles, which are also visible on the calendar. We have no emoji picker in the editor, but you can copy them from a website like https://getemoji.com/ or use a browser extension like https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/emoji-keyboard-emojis-for/fbcgkphadgmbalmlklhbdagcicajenei

Permanently Closed Subtasks
It would be nice to be able to keep subtasks closed. I know how to close them by scrolling to the top, but I need a way to keep the closed, or close after you use it, easily. I don't like logging into Freedcamp and having all tasks and subtasks open.

Recurrent tasks Changes
I deal with a lot of recurrent tasks. but not all have the same title for example we run one type of report every month but not every month are he same parameters even thought is the same report and we know a years in advance the title this is consider a recurrent task. example of a recurrent task.
Grocery shopping - Apples
Grocery Shopping - Pears
Grocery Shopping - BananasThis is just an example how this is a recurrent task but every time we have to buy something different even thought still applies to grocery shopping.
3 votesLooks like a repeatable checklist that mutates slightly each week. So you’d have a master checklist and a weekly one that’s a subset of the master. Probably achieved with a bit of copy & paste
