In some To-do's we have more than 10 comments, and its sometimes annoying having to scroll down to the bottom of the page to read the most recent comments, specially when it is a very active one. It would be great if you could have the option to choose from "descending" or "asceding" ordering depending each project.
We will add most recent comment on top later.
The only problem we see with it is – if you have 5 new comments you have to scroll down to see first one and scroll again up to a top of the page, read last unread comment and post own one.
What was done
- scroll down arrow on top which will scroll page for you.
- if you have 5 unread comments this page will scroll down to the first unread comment.
- unread comments will be marked clearly on a page.
When you open an item you will immediately see if it has unread comments. Also these comments will be marked as read on your Notification page automatically.
You have a CRM, Invoices and project management. However I am still having to use a separate proposal system to send to clients - Qwilr. I am looking everywhere to find something that can handle everything and it just doesn't exist yet. This along with CRM, Invoices, Project management would be the total package.69 votes
A task complete percentage bar that fills that particular task from left to right. Could be set by drag or 10% increments.66 votes
Start with a budgeted amount and then deduct parts purchased, labor, etc that are deducted from the actual budgeted cost to determine on or off budget report.64 votes
Ability to track time per task/project on mobile app would make this a winner for my team! Having to go back to desktop site makes it inefficient. Thx!64 votes
It will be nice to be able to paste a list of items in order to create multiple tasks/subtasks at once like Trello does. This will simplify a lot the process of creating tasks!63 votes
Please tell us what exactly you want to see in Freedcamp from Evernote or what you want to see in Evernote from Freedcamp.
We are not Evernote users so we would like to learn from you what do you need/want to see.
Tasks - assign a person to a task list so that every task in that list is automatically assigned to the person.
If you have a task list with all tasks assigned to the same person. Instead of dragging the name to all tasks, it would be better to drag the name to the task list so that every task is automatically assigned to that person63 votes
Probably the best option is to release a rule-based engine where you can set any rules you want
One user will set:
If a task is added to task list ‘Bob M.’ and is not assigned → assign it to Bob M.
Another user will set:
If a task is added to task list ‘High priority’ change it is a priority to ‘High’ if it is not the case and assign Bob M.
Most CRM's have contacts and organisations - and a way of linking one to the other ( e.g. hubspot , insightly ) .62 votes
I would assume that you want to integrate it with this offering – https://stripe.com/docs/payments/checkout
We include a link to your invoice, your customer goes to Stripe to pay the invoice and payment ends up displaying as a deposit for your invoice.
Please let us know if this is the expected behavior you want!
Ideally story cards are physical things put on a wall but that's hard when your team is distributed! Pivotal Tracker (pivotaltracker.com) do Agile stories quite well. I'd like to have Story cards in Freedcamp so I can have everything in one place.

I would find this immensely useful!56 votes

We will do Zapier integration which will allow to hook two systems together.
I would like to add custom images to my Project envelope shown on the dashboard. This will help decipher projects more quickly when having several projects showing up on the dashboard.55 votes
Being able to group tasks in the to-do list by a small color box on each to-do would give a better overview on a long to-do list.
eg if you have different subprojects within on project finding the next to-do once a task is completed would be faster if each "subproject" had different color codes.
The size of the colorbox could also indicate when each task should be done?54 votes
The ability to set overall project priorities and due dates would be awesome. Currently you can only do this for To-Do's which is great. However, when you have a lot of future projects (over 100 for me) rearranging them manually or alphabetically is a real pain. This would make future projects much easier to plan for.53 votes
We came to this platform in order to utilize the Gantt chart feature. We like it, but because we have so many projects, we'd really like the ability to change colors. Right now, green and blue are the only two colors shown, and it's really easy to lose track of which projects are which. Utilizing color picking options like we have for projects would be fantastic.53 votes
We color subtasks now differently and added drag and drop to reorder tasks and subtasks as well as use drag and drop to convert tasks to subtasks https://blog.freedcamp.com/2019/06/07/gantt-drag-and-drop/

Adding in estimated hours as a variable, and current hours left, and see that wrapped up similar to how a Sprint is tracked. Basically, an agile Burndown Chart that is directly attached to Tasks would be hugely helpful.50 votes
