  1. In the "Manage Project" page, it would be great to clearly see the status (=global progress of a project) : Complete, in progress, pending, thanks to a small icon or the use of colors.

  2. The ability to set overall project priorities and due dates would be awesome. Currently you can only do this for To-Do's which is great. However, when you have a lot of future projects (over 100 for me) rearranging them manually or alphabetically is a real pain. This would make future projects much easier to plan for.

  3. I am trying to convince my organization to use freedcamp to communicate what they're busy with/working on. One of the primary objections is the unsophisticated reporting. The digest is a good feature, but it essentially amounts to a list. My manager wants reports in a specific format. Freedcamp provides all the information he is asking me for, but not in the format he wants. If I could either customize reports or export project data, I could provide him with a report he would be happy with.

    This is completed and released to all Enterprise users. We will release Dashboards versions to the Business. Minimalist and Free plan with different sets of functions later this year after collecting some stats.

  5. Currently you have to open a tasks' full information page to mark it completed or change its due date from the Calendar view. It would make the view much more usable if we could check off completed tasks directly from that view and either click to open an "edit due date" modal window or simply drag it on the month / week views to the appropriate date.

    Hi All,

    It is completed now – thanks to our users who sponsored it. Also you can upload files with subfolders in Chrome browser. All folder structure will be recreated in Freedcamp. You can also delete file versions (except version 1). We will add ability to delete any version soon – this was just due to code being tight too much to version 1 pointer.

    You can also search and filter files in current folder or in subfolders.

  8. Would it be possible to add a column view to the task lists? Currently the Task name, Status, Start Date and Due Date are all crowded together. It would be nice if each was in a clearly defined column with column headers.

  9. It would be nice to be able to assign a number of users to a particular group. When creating a new project or discussion it would be easy to identify the group or groups involved. An indirect outcome of this is that one email to users could invite them to a group without needed to invite them to every different discussion!

  10. An area for adding basic contacts so you can attach a digital business card to a task so the person dealing with a particular job can view client contact details relating to the task for example.

    It has been completed. Global Tasks Board has now export filtered results option. When no filters applied – everything will be exported including subtasks.

    Calendar Board (all projects with filters as on the web) is now available on the mobile application and can also be set as your default home page inside the application.

    Project Calendar will be added in 2020
    The ability to see and add events in Q1 2021.

  14. I suggest a global overview application that shows each project's progress status and updates at a glance.

    What we suggest is an overview of any projects in one dashboard, the percentage of completion (from Overview “page”), the status or the last status (from Overview “page”), the Gantt of the project, and the description.

    We are already working now on a new concept called Dashboards that will support the Summary widget (pie, bar, battery, or card output), Table, and Buttons widgets. Essentially dashboards are custom reports and you can create as many dashboards as you need with as many widgets with drag and drop capability to set your perfect layout. Eventually, Dashboards will supersede the Widgets page. Dashboards can be private, shared with all team members (new members will see it too) or selected team members. Initially, dashboards will be added to the Enterprise plan.

  17. so that you don't have to click tabs to see your information. This is how salesforce.com does it and it makes getting information very quick, as only page has to load and there is no extraneous clicking.

I've been evaluating freecamp against basecamp, because I'd like to switch to freedcamp, but there is one really helpful feature that I rely on more than anything else everyday in basecamp that freedcamp doesn't have, and that's a way to view my tasks in a way that helps me get through the work in the right order.

    Freedcamp does have a start on this with the My Tasks widget and that is headed in the right direction but it's far too basic. In basecamp, when I view all my tasks, there is a time range selector at the top which…

  19. it would be extremely useful to have the KANBAN view display as much details as there are in the LIST view.
    currently on the TASK BOARD, the assignee, due date, priority are shown In the list view and the date completed on subtask is also shown in the list view, but it does not show up on kanban view.
    at a minimum, the due date should be on the kanban/sticky note and changed to red in colour when it is past due.

  20. In issue tracker, sorting by "last activity" doesn't take care about new comments.
    it's not possible to quickly see which issue has been commented.
    When there are lots of issues, and lots of comments, it's really hard to see recent comments.
    So sorting by "last activity" may include comments changes, or maybe a new sorting option can be added ("last activity or comment")
