  1. It would be great to see an overview of all the time you tracked on each project, sorted by date.

    This would be very useful if the time entries had dates.

  2. It would be nice if we could specify estimated points and actual points to tasks. We follow an agile methodology where we generate velocities using points. It would be nice to add estimated and actual points to tasks and be able to see them in both list and kanban views. As well as sort by estimated and actual points.

    You can add two custom fields – estimated Points and Actual Points – https://freedcamp.com/Freedcamp_LxR/Freedcamp_Devel_yOf/wiki/wiki_public/view/3Tbab

    They won’t be visible in list view and Kanban view but we are working on table view where you will be able to decide what columns/attributes to display and maybe some customizations will be added to allow to display certain custom attributes – tags and/or custom fields in list and Kanban view in the future.

  4. Many of my projects require client collaboration throughout stages of construction. It would be amazing to have a page where my clients can login and discuss project changes, to-do's and milestones. Also would be nice to be able to add clients to an address book and allow linking clients to projects.

    Hi All,

    Freedcamp has both role based and functionality based permissions. You can invite clients to Discussions application and have a clean conversation with them while not exposing project’s tasks.

    If you do not want team to see clent conversations – make them private – we have private discussions feature.

    Would be great if I could download the whole project at once as a ZIP/RAR/7Z or so archive,with the structure, like this:
    /tasks/task1
    /files/folder1/file1...
    etc.

  7. Having multiple projects from Freedcamp on one calendar (that you can switch on and off) is a great way to plan if concurrent projects with crossover team members are going to clash.

    It has been released – https://freedcamp.com/dashboard/calendar

    You can access it by opening https://freedcamp.com/dashboard/widgets and using ‘Calendar Board’ tab.

    What is next?
    - We will be adding ‘Tasks Board’ – similar page to display all tasks across all projects
    - We will add filters to both pages to let you filter items show by a project, project group or all.
    - We will allow you to select your default home page in Freedcamp between – Dashboard, Widgets Board, Tasks Board or Calendar Board.

  8. It would be nice to have a feature which would allow to connect Freedcamp with outlook account, things like tasks - accept decline, deadlines, notifications, etc.
    I do understand that you want people to use your interface but I think that your interface is for project managers and not for the people who are carrying specific tasks. For them it should be as easy as possible to work with data assigned by project manager and by connecting your app with outlook you would make it.

    Just my thoughts ;) otherwise great job guys finally a great and user friendly app…

    Hi,

    Custom Fields data are added to XLS export and Data Feed Links, if:

    1) export to XLS or data feed link for a project (not a bunch of projects)

    2) Custom Fields are enabled for this project

    3) there is at least one Custom Field value saved for any of tasks included into XLS export or Data Feed Link.

  12. I would like to be able to view and manage the critical path of my projects.

    This requires a feature that I do not see, the ability to relate tasks or todos by predecessor or successor. In addition it would be valuable to have a duration or effort estimate value instead of a fixed date.

  14. sometime (often) project participants will forget to record events at the time they occur, so that some ToDo item looks like it was completed "today", rather than a week ago. Likewise with time entries.

    distinguish the modification time on these items from a completion (or other status change) date. (Started, stopped, etc).

    This would also allow for more complete incorporation of projects that are created after they are already effectively in progress, to be able to record some of the past completed tasks and time entries for proper accounting of overall progress, rather than just from the time it was…

  15. with HTML5 jquery mobile application can make it look like a native application, and PhoneGap can pack this web application to be a full native application for all mobile platforms!

It would be very useful to be able to either have a) the ability to copy a group of subtasks to another task, or to b) be able to create a task which is not marked as completed until each person it is assigned to clicks that their part is "Complete". The scenario this would be useful in is in kind of like a class-room setup for a team or class. Personally, I have multiple papers that I have sent home with team members and that they have been asked to complete. Instead of creating a main task called "paper…

  20. Would be good to have an area where you could add and manage team members, assign permissions, edit details, add social profiles, add projects etc.

    This would differ to the current offering as it would allow 'global' access and editing for each team member, as opposed to doing this within projects (which is how it seems to currently work).
