Time - desktop application to track
It would be great to have software that you can install on your PC in order to set projects and tasks on which you're working meanwhile your PC is used.
By using a simple interface by clicking on the tray icon you can start/pause/stop tasks progression in an easy way.
Moreover, at this point would be great to have a Timing module above all projects in order to filter and export the working time upon different projects. (for some reason, the export widget permits to export time upon the different project, but the feature is enabled the only project by…

Gantt for Projects - add resources view
Add the resources option available on individual projects to the Gantt for Projects overview
At the moment, there is no method to cross-reference where resources are required across the multiple projects that we have running, other than stepping through each project in turn and exporting to png/pdf and compiling a report from all the exports - and we have typically 20+ projects at any one timeAdd the Gantt options from individual projects to the Gantt for projects.
The resources would be listed by name in the same manner and would show the number of tasks across all projects that…2 votesCorrection to my previous note – please contact support how the Resource view should look like on the Gantt for Projects. Our previous answer was about Tasks Board and its Gantt view.

Global task view settings
It would be convenient to be able to set task view (list/kanban) globally. Right now I have to configure task view per project which can be somewhat annoying considering the amount of projects I'm part of.

Chrome extension - to add an url/website as a task
With the option to choose project and task list. Meta title should be used as title for the task.
3 votesPlease post in comments what should happen when the URL is added as a task.
For example, page title becomes a task title, URL – description of a task, etc.

Gantt - ability to customise colours
It would be great to add some colour customisation options to the Gantt chart and to the overall task views. That way different types or characteristics (eg location based etc) of tasks would be more easily discerned. Also the contrast between the progress bar and the main colour isn't really strong enough in the Gantt
28 votesPlease post in comments options you want to see like
- person
- custom filed and its value
- priority
- tagIt will be one of the above options only ( you will not be able to set if assigned to me and in progress – use #FF00FF).
We can only expose one of the above and provide variation for the completed part and not the completed part.
For example, you decide to use priority
Normal priority not completed = #FBEEC1
Normal priority completed = #BC986AWhat do yo think?

Wiki - global
I would like to be able to have global Wikis. I use the Wiki to create training documents for staff. These entries would be useful to have across all projects. Perhaps the ability to have Wiki entries appear in multiple projects without having to copy them over?
8 votesYou can create a project called Wiki and store all cross-project Wikis in it. Use tags and wiki lists to separate. That project can have only a Wiki application installed.
If you use a Business or Enterprise plan create a template project with one wiki pointing to that project I mentioned above. Call this wiki README or START HERE and it will provide a pointer in each project to cross-project Wiki section. -

Tasks - assign colors to task lists
Going from google's agenda to Freedcamp's, I had a bad time creating my agendas inside projects : I usually create colors for each task list, so I can manage them with visual assistance.
Can you bring some way to choose a color for each task lists ? Maybe based on the project's color.Thx !
1 voteWe can try to add another userscript similar to https://blog.freedcamp.com/2019/12/29/highlight-projects-a-new-browser-extension/ to do this. Will it work for you?

Timetracker in app
I would love to be able to start/stop (taskrelated) timers in the app. With the option to toggle between allowing only one timer at a time (automatic stop of the running timer when a new timer is started) or having multiple timers running simultaneously.

Default values for invoices like VAT and cost per hour (Instead of adding it line by line).

If it is set – the set value will be used.

Accept payments through Payoneer.com
Payoneer.com is a vital payment gateway for many freelancers without access to Paypal.

May I ask you to explain how this should work? Similar to PayPal – we simply provide a link where your customer can pay or some sort of deeper integration? If so – please explain.

Gantt for Projects - show gaps
Currently, the project bar spans from the date of the first task until the end of the last, despite gaps in timeline. For eg. I have a project starting in November that won't end until February. However, there are no tasks scheduled across the Christmas break yet it appears that there is. Another example is that when running multiple projects, it appears that multiple projects are being run at the same time when it isn't always the case.
If the project bar is only visible when there is a task in place, it will reduce clutter and more accurately reflect…
1 voteHi Nathan,
A lot of people leave 1-2 gaps between tasks in any project. For example, the Critical Chain approach by Goldratt calls them buffers. If we will show all gaps Gantt for projects will look like fence most of the time.
Sure – we can show the project name and its progress after the bar.
What do you think?
It will also be cool to be able to change color opacity for areas with a lot of tasks (darker) to less load (lighter) color.

Personal Tasks not associated with a project
I would like to have tasks that are my own but not associated with a project. We're looking to use Freedcamp across the organization (private school), both within and across departments. I would like to be able to add my own tasks that are not a part of a project but are just for me to do because they are a part of my job.

Screenshot tool [ Capture requests from clients]
Let's say we onboard a client for a site redesign. It would be nice to have a tool that could allow an overlay on the client site, so the client can make notes and requests regarding changes.
Those notes could be linked to the project, and upon approval, that would be on the issue tracker.
Something like Userback or Fronter.io

Projects Board - add filters
There's an option to mark projects as favorite. But there's no way to make a selection of favorite projects on the projects board.
I would like to see that option added: show favorite only.
0 votesHi,
Thanks for posting.
Do you want these filters to be similar to what we have in Tasks application and apply globally once selected?
For example if you selected one project group or favorite projects you will see only those projects in Freedcamp including project picker. Tasks Board and Calendar board will only show these projects like other projects do not even exist until the Projects Board filter is removed.
Please provide your response in comments.
Thanks

Tasks - sort by date with subtasks or task lists
Sometimes I add subtasks either under a main task (or within a task list) and the way I added them don't necessary correlate to the date I assigned them. I would like to be able to "sort" under a task, and all the substasks re-arrange in order of due date, instead of the non-organized way I entered them. I know I could manually re-arrange, but that would take a long time, and it would be nice if they could just auto-sort if I wanted!

Widget that could pull tasks by tag
I am trying to create an easy way to see what needs to be invoiced, and I was trying to use the tags to do so, but there appears to be no way to create a widget that has all tasks tagged with 'to be invoiced' or similar. Creating a widget that can filter by specific tags would be so helpful!
1 voteYou can pull items by tag from global search https://freedcamp.com/Freedcamp_LxR/Freedcamp_Devel_yOf/wiki/wiki_public/view/qLaab or if you are looking into tasks only – Tasks Board allows to create a filter by tag https://freedcamp.com/dashboard/tasks you can save – select all items having a specific tag and save it with a name.
