User Management: Replace deleted user with existing user
When a user is deleted from an account project/group have the ability to reassign that user's assigned tasks and any project ownership to another user. Comments in discussion would just leave user's name.
26 votesWe are working on improved users management system which will include replace function and “invite a new user with existing user permissions” – will also subscribe to all things that existing user is subscribed.

Freedcamp should be multi-language
At least it should offer German, French and Spanish. The world is bigger than the United States.

Customization section of sentences and or translation in Settings
It would be amazing to have a customization section of sentences and or translation in Settings. In this section, there would be a list of phrases (in English) used in some parts of the system, and, beside it, a text box for each user typed a phrase (in English or another language) so that text be customized to the project or user team. This would improve the customization of the system, approaching more the individual reality of each project and or user and solve (or help much) to users who can not work in English.

KANBAN view display as much details as there are in the LIST view (assignee, due date, priority, date completed)
it would be extremely useful to have the KANBAN view display as much details as there are in the LIST view.
currently on the TASK BOARD, the assignee, due date, priority are shown In the list view and the date completed on subtask is also shown in the list view, but it does not show up on kanban view.
at a minimum, the due date should be on the kanban/sticky note and changed to red in colour when it is past due.33 votesHi,
Have you checked animations in this section?
https://freedcamp.com/Freedcamp_LxR/Freedcamp_Devel_yOf/wiki/wiki_public/view/Pvbab#how-to-switch-views-in-tasks-kanbanPlease post in comments what is not really shown.
I see:
- date completed
- start dateAnything else?

Mobile app - add support for Calendar Events
The need to be able to view Calendar entries on Iphone, as users are always not sitting infront of the laptop/desktop when opening Freedcamp.
42 votesHi,
We stated working on this – you will see all items in Recap and Calendar in version 1 – not only tasks but events, issues, milestones but we wlll ask if you want to open a web browser to modify it and will add support to view/modify these items in the app later.

Project landing page, master landing page
It often feels like I have to click around many places to get a glimse of what's happening on a project or in the whole freedcamp space. It would be great to have available an "everything" feed that would include discussions, tasks, etc without having to view them separately
1 voteHi Rob,
Thanks for posting!
We realized it here a few months ago and now in final stages of a new default home page – https://www.dropbox.com/s/9e0c8l69e4u99iu/New%20Dashboard.png?dl=0 which we will later allow you to customize, New Notifications page and new daily recap email with matching always-up-to-date page in Freedcamp.
We totally agree – most of the time you should be able to do all the collaboration and work from visiting just one page in Freedcamp – no matter how many projects you are part of.

Mobile app - default home page to show my things to do or already doing
Projects are the focus on Freedcamp but when it comes to mobile how about taking a deviation to focus on tasks & then the rest.
Just a food for thought. Freedcamp is an exhaustive tool, by all means, but for mobile, the landing page should be the last view task/task list or project he/she has been working on.3 votes -

"Notes" tab for projects
Right now we use the Discussion board for notes, but it seems a little more than what is needed for basic notes. Re regularly like to update the project about contact that we have with our clients and having a simple tab where we can just say "Add Note" would be great. That way a list of our notes is in chronological order and easier to navigate than the Discussion tab.

Enable task status change in Tasks board, filtered Kanban view
Open Tasks board for all projects
Create a filter (mine is Progress: no progress, in progress)
Save a filter
Switch to Kanban viewNow I want to take a task from "No progress" and drag it to "In progress". Same for other columns.

It is done and will be released next weekend (18-19 Nov).

Dutch translation
Since my clients are Dutch, I would like to serve them with a dutch interface. I can imagine there are more people who want to display FC in their own languages. If there is an English language file available, I would be happy to translate it!

Small CSS Adition on #dashboard
We have a number of Clients (Groups) and each has a number of Projects. In your DASHBOARD view, where the clients and their respective Projects are listed, the dividing line between Groups is not that clear, visually pairing the Group title with the Projects above it instead. An update to your existing style sheet, you shoul simply add two lines. Currently:
#dashboard .recent_projects, #dashboard .group {
margin-bottom: 30px;
}
UPDATE:
#dashboard .recent_projects, #dashboard .group {
margin-bottom: 30px;
border-bottom: 5px solid #ace;
padding-bottom: 30px;
}1 voteThanks. We were planning a bit more radical layout change to fix it but this should be done by next release.

Croatian translations
As a native Croatian speaker, I would like to see my language on the list of available translations for your great tool
5 votesHi All!
We decided to start with Wall application to see how many people will participate and what issues will arise and will add more words and phrases as we go.
We would like to build relationships with most active users helping us and nominated moderator (a team or individual) which will work with us and be a trusted source managing a community of translators for a particular language. We will definitely reward most active users with great life-time upgrades and will post your names on Freedcamp’s new sponsors and supporters hall of fame page.
Thanks for helping us out! Please join here – http://translate.freedcamp.com/collaboration/ and follow the prompts.
Cheers,
