Always show all projects
When we go through all our projects during the weekly production meeting, we bounce back and forth between individual projects and the project overview board. It's a bit noisy to have to click "show all projects" EVERY TIME we go back to the overview.
Would be great to have an option to toggle "always show all projects".

Task completion dates -
When you click "Task Completion," it would be great to be able to enter the date you actually completed the task, rather than have the system automatically enter the date you clicked "completed" (or at least an option to override the automatic entry). Sometimes, I finish a task, but forget to click that it's completed until several days or even a week later. It would be helpful to be able to enter the date I actually completed it, for tracking purposes.

Calendar filter
I would like to be able to filter the calendar by tags.
I have task and subtask that are similar work but are repeated in multiple projects. Like schedule social media post. Right now I tag the task so we can see all post that need to be done at once but we can’t show the in one calendar view so someone can easily see all of the task that need to be completed across multiple projects in a calendar view.

Work lists for employees
To make Gantt views per employee for 1 week. Now you also see past weeks in the gantt view.
Would be great if you van give your employee a nice overview list of the jobs for the week!

Extended Formatting in Tasks and Comments
Currently the WYSIWYG editor in Tasks Description, Comments are limited where there are no options to set text formatting. Eg. Heading 1, Heading 2, Preformatted, Code. There are also no tables.
As a Software Engineer working on tasks, especially when it involve coding, it will be useful to have <code>.
As a Business User showing figures in tables, it will be useful to be able to edit right from the editor itself.
Currently, the workaround requires me to paste from another text editor. (albeit the formatting works, but no option to pick the formatting from WYSIWYG editor)

Notification filtering (only comments)
The easiest thing would be an option to only receive notifications for comments.
Even better would be similar to how Facebook allows you to go to Settings > Notifications and there's a list of items like "Comments, Tags, Reminders...". When you click on one you get 3 options: "Push, Email, SMS" and you can turn On or Off each one.

Time estimates and time spent WITHIN a task and dependencies that actually affect the schedule
I just purchased Freedcamp and I’m horribly disappointed that time tracking (or even selecting time of day for a task) isn’t a feature. It’s like Project Management 101...I was hoping to use this program in time boxing around time estimates.
I’m a former project manager (professionally) and now a business owner looking to use my PM skills to manage it all.
Also the ability to do dependencies that are more than just visual lines in a Gantt chart. If one task gets pushed out (date), it should push the dependent task dates without needing to manually update the due dates.

As for something being posted and not being a priority – we do our best. If something was posted in 2015 and upvoted once does not mean that we have 300 staff to just ask 3 team members to jump in and implement it. All suggestions here with 50+ votes are a priority

Assign a task to multiple project members
It would be nice if we can assign a task to 2 or more project members. At this time the current option is to assign to a specific project member but not assign a task to 2 or more members.
My current work around is to mention another member on the comment section or assign it to everyone instead, but it would be better if we have the option to select multiple members on a task.

Various integrations with the following
1) An extension where users (Freelancers and agencies) can store budget information and mark the tasks against it. Be able to see a graphical report and analyze how much profit is made on a project.
2) Integration with a comprehensive invoicing software such as WaveApp

A way to mark all tasks as complete in a list, or reset all tasks to no status in a list.
In the task list options, a way to toggle all as complete, all in progress, or all back to no status.

Import Any/All Fields and New and Existing Tasks
It would be great is we could import any/all fields for both new and existing tasks. For instance, if we added a new custom field that we now want filled in for all tasks, we could do an upload for the existing tasks to fill in the field as appropriate.
3 votesThanks for posting. We will address it with bulk operations where you can select all or filtered tasks and apply actions to them in bulk. Import from XLS is a wrong method to update existing records and will only be maintained for import of new records.

Issue Tracker - customize 'priority'
Customize priority attributes in issue tracker.
There are only three attributes in priority now: High/Medium/Low.
It's not enough for some software development for example:There is not urgent or trivial level. Please let us customize it in issue tracker.

Creative mock up tool
Many of us have to communicate as project managers to designers and other creative’s as well as take feedback from clients it would be ideal to have a tool that can drop a pin or number on an image and then you have something open up to the right or the left where we can further describe what needs to happen at that point on the image to limit the amount of back-and-forth with our creative teams and clients

Issue Tracker - add 'Urgent' priority
Add "Urgent" to Priority. Currently only have Low Medium High. But for URGENT tickets add "Critical" or "Urgent".

Basecamp changes API, versions of product and ways data can be taken out all the time and we have no resources to catch up.

Add multiple existing todos to milestone
I would love it if, in the Milestone view there were an "Add Todos" option/dialog that you could select from all of the todos associated with the project. When I sit down to start work I usually make a quick list of todos, and then later when I'm looking at my progress I will organize them into Milestones. I could just spend more time creating the todos, but I don't want to!
