Tasks - add Start time and End time
I assign him task to start work at 4.00 pm xyz task he clicks and it shows me that ABC has started working on this, I will set a fix target that 5.30 pm in 1.30 hours I am expecting this out put from you, so once at 5.30 PM task is auto stopped, ABC has to just put the number in the task completion so I would come to know if the assigned task is achieved as per the target or not

Finally in the planned state

Setting a time for tasks would help me plan my work day. I could estimate how long a task would take and then I would have an idea of how many tasks I could get done in a day.

Ability to specify a time as well as the date for tasks to start and finish, particularly useful for planning short duration projects (e.g. conference plans), and useful for daily repeated tasks.

Please include this in the free plan, too!!!

Maybe this should be a user specific feature allowing them to plan out their day and not effect the project timeline.

I attempted to move a task on the calendar to a set time to plan out my day/week and was not successful. Maybe user error but if not, it would be great to properly plan out my day's tasks and estimate how much time it will take me.

Yes, this would be a great feature, but an idea from 2015.. that was 5 years ago :D

assigning a time to the task is a MUST HAVE as we prioritize our tasks in our company as well as the time we do them. Thanks for hearing us!

Yes, we need to be able to add start and either end or duration times. A must have!

Agree with many comments here. Program management software must include the ability to assign time frames to each task. It is essentially the basics for managing. You would be better served to use the calendar functions in Google or Outlook, than try to use this.

This program is essentially useless without the ability to assign time frames related to tasks. Project management software should include this feature. I have spent enough time with this that if we can not list time frames throughout the day, I will have to keep looking.

We need to have times included in our due dates and the times for our calendar - our days are built on hourly schedules - and it is a must have that other programs offer. With meetings and planning changing daily, without it we are lost. Our workflow relies on having report X done by 1 PM so we can get feed back by 3 PM and submit by 5PM. It makes the program nearly useless for us without it.

The application is perfect in everything, but I cannot use it without being able to add the end-time for the tasks! I am working in the translation industry and every minute counts! We do not have all day-long tasks. So, I have moved to another platform, maybe till you add the end-task option!

This is a huge deal breaker at the moment for me. I want to make the full transition but without the granularity of start and end times added to tasks, it makes for a lot of clutter when looking at what needs to get done on a given day and by when. I need to be able to look at my calendar and see what I need to prioritize and what is happening when. It makes the Calendar view feel pretty useless at the moment. All of my tasks are sitting at the top as all day tasks, a bit silly from a UX and management standpoint.

I would like to see start/end times for tasks, mostly to organize my to-do list into what I'm doing in morning vs. afternoon, and what is realistic to accomplish in one day

I want to post tasks and delay when my staff will be able to see them. That way they are not distracted and I can prioritise what they see and when. At the same time I need to be storing all the tasks as they come in.

I really miss the start and en time for a task. In that order in can plan all task. Would for me a big improvement to keep on working with this tool.
