Wall Message Notification
Allow users to provide a notification method when someone posts on a wall. For example via email or text message. Alternatively, provide a method for a user to request another use to login into Freedcamp to go to the wall for a discussion. Unfortunately, absent of a IM integration (desktop, mobile, etc.) a user has to email or txt or IM (via other service) a request for a user to join.

The new Chat application is coming soon which will replace Wall.
It will contain text, voice, video, screen sharing, and recording functions and added to all plans starting with text chat on the free plan.
It will be launched on the web, desktop, and mobile and be integrated with projects and items (tasks, events etc.). You will also be able to select people and have unrelated chats 1:1 or 1:many

How much will this increase the price of the Business plan?
Will there be a limit to the number of people who can be on a call? (We sometimes do all-hands virtual meetings with 25 employees.)
Will there be an option to NOT use it if we already have a chat solution? -

Hello,
Just wondering the status on this? A chat feature would be great and I would be happy to help in supporting this. Gofundme offers unlimited time campaigns. As of now, we get notifications via email but I don't see any notifications in Freedcamp when someone writes on the wall. This isn't optimal because I miss messages while I am in Freedcamp because of this. Thanks for all you do!

So far, the inability to receive a notification when someone posts to the wall is the only main drawback of this system. Sometimes I miss important things for days because I don't always remember to check that area. :(

It looks like an option but in reality - a lot of people want it but much less want to support it with $$. Also going Kickstarter with limited time campaign and high commission does not make sense - as we only want to reach our own customers.
I see no platform with low fees and unlimited time campaign. May be we should just try to experiment with PayPal to pay and showing how much collected vs goal to kick development done in house....

Hi. Would it be an idea to do crowdfunding for this? I love freedcamp and it's amazing how much you can do with the free version. It's the best collaboration tool I've seen so far. Great job!
