Resource Management functionality to fully manage personnel
Resource management functionality of 10,000ft Plans looks great and useful. Freedcamp should create its own version of this resource maanagement solution.

@Danielle - you know that we have Tasks Board - all projects with filters and it also supports Gantt view where this panel can be added?
We can start with people as we are working on new manage System where the only teams in projects will be what is now called Global Teams with further expansion to filters where you can a) assign tasks to teams b) filter by teams both ways - assign to 'Development team' meaning it was not assigned yet to Jeff and/or both assigned to a team and individuals in that team.
Right now you can go to Tasks Board and select Jeff, Bob, and Peter, status - in progress or no progress and save as 'Development team'. Now you apply this filter on Tasks Board and see workload of each person in Development below Gantt chart and their tasks.
Once teams are fully implemented you will be able to see teams in the resource panel and collapse and expand them as shown in this demo - https://docs.dhtmlx.com/gantt/desktop__resource_management.html

This is great and pretty much what we need, but I'm not really fussed about seeing resourcing on a per project/existing project basis (assuming this is what it's doing). What we really need is to be able to as follows:
- See a view which shows how 'busy' each team member is and each team is. So I could see that development is working at 85% but implementation is overloaded at 150%. Then I would like to be able to break this down by team member - so, ok, let's see why the implementation team is so overloaded, Jeff is working at 200%. Ah! Better do something about Jeff's work.
- When assigning people to tasks, it would be great to see if people are double booked or just how busy they are in general
- I would like to be able to see at a glance, who's next got an available slot next and how busy people are on a calendar view - basically what you have in your example, but across all projects is the most important thing! This could be combined with point 1 - i.e. I see a high level view then drill down into specifics.Hope this helps! :D

This is the thing that's missing for me. Would love to have resource management for my teams so I can see how busy they are/who has gaps and who is overloaded etc.

Agree. I would like to be able to add resources to projects (people, vendors, "things", etc.) that are required for completing a project. Some people like a vendor or internal employee might be resources, but I don't want to include them in the PM software. How can add any of these people or resources. Must I create a task for everything?
