'Seen by' feature for tasks.
When overseeing a team it is useful for project leaders/managers to know whether team members who have been assigned a task have logged in and seen the task. That way the leader/manager knows whether or not they have to follow up with the team member to ensure that they have read tasks that have been assigned to them. Without this feature, team-members who want to shirk responsibility for a task always have the 'I didn't see that notification' excuse.
This could be accomplished by adding a 'seen by' feature which would be similar to Facebook group messages. Essentially, when each person who has been assigned to a task logs in and views the item in question, text appears below the task saying 'Seen by Joe Bloggs, Jack Smith, etc'.

Hi SC,
This does not make sense to me as it will never be accurate. Team can get notified and ‘see’ your task by an email, push notification on mobile device.
Best way to track will be to use upcoming features like:
- making sure task is In Progress if it passed start date
- progress % is in line with working days for a task duration
- estimate time is not conflicting with time worked vs working days and/or task duration
- task is not overdue
Cheers,
Igor

Would it not be possible yto simply add a list in the task detail view that shows which project members have seen (entered the task detail) the task or not.
I oersobally would want to see if they have read commenta or not as well. But that might be more difficult.
Freed camp just generates to many emails and users tend to mail rule them out . Wish there was a deaktop notification of some description.

+1 exactly like facebook messenger does would be very useful. I imagine this feature could be controlled by project...
