Single project's activity on the main project page.
I noticed it's been slightly annoying for having to go back to the Widgets Board to view recent activity. What if the recent activity of a project is displayed above tasks and other app tabs? So you can view just recent activity of just that project so it takes out the extra step of going back to the Widget Board and scanning through the recent activity on the Widget Board. The recent activity on the Widget Board is great to view it as a whole but it would be awesome to also be able to see it by the project within the project. This would also optimize finding out who posted comments and where, its not easy to find them other than the recent activity widget on the Widget Board.

Hi Roy,
have you checked https://freedcamp.com/dashboard/notificationsit has a filter on top to filter by project or a project group and contains all the updates for your filter selection with ability to mark them as read. You can also change defaults and see all updates (not things your follow) or updates you already marked as read.
Cheers,
Igor

The idea that I have isn't solely in the Tasks tab or Tasks application related. Its essentially taking the Widgets Board recent activity widget and placing it above the project application tabs. Although the notifications page is good, I think it could include more details much like the details on the recent activity widget.

Yep - I checked your screenshot. Even though Tasks is the most used project application we have a bunch of projects not having Tasks added. It can be project-discussion or project-issue tracking.
So if you want project activity in a project and not just tasks activity - best way to incorporate it is to add it to an individual tab or some button which will show you a big overlay popup with scroll to access project activity.
Inside Tasks it makes sense to show tasks only activities in this project.
We will roll new Freedcamp navigation soon and I will see how we can bring what Notifications page shows filtered to show you project updates or application updates (like Tasks updates) when you are inside a project without leaving a page you are on.
Cheers,

A project status tab seems like a good idea to have status on the project which can be used to motivate team members as well. It would need a page by itself to view all projects and their status. The idea I have in mind is to have the activity displayed on the single project's main page to alleviate the need to having to go to a whole page to view the activity. When I go to the single project page, it currently doesn't show me whats going on there so if Im look at the project as a whole, its lacking that recent activity feed. Maybe that space can be become a widget area that people can customize and act as the project "header" maybe it can be switched out with the project status/progress. We definitely have two different but good ideas that can affect the page in a positive way. I just think the single project page should give you a view of the project as a whole and with automatic recent activity feed at the top and below the navigation. Did you get a chance to view my screenshot?

I would probably prefer to tackle it into this - https://freedcamp.uservoice.com/forums/126945-suggestions-for-features/suggestions/2082397--notes-tab-for-projects
Basically this is an idea of anew project tab which can a few things - what already described by a link above and recent updates.
What do you think?

Hey Igor,
Yes, I did see that but the hassle is having that its own separate page instead of in the whole project overview. Here is the idea that I have in mind, except the recent activity content take the full width of the section. This is just a quick mockup that I created with screenshots to communicate the idea. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6VFkSXgdCTAVWFUR20xUlZ4RWs
