Archive individual tasks and not only task groups

I want to use Task Groups as types of Tasks and don't want to archive them but I do want to archive single tasks.

For example, I have created "Promotions" as a Task Group. Inside, I will create tasks and work on them. When a single task, a promotion, it will be marked as completed by other mate, I will first public that promotion (at our website) and then I would like to archive the task, but no the Group "Promotions", because I will be creating tasks over there.

The solution with filters that I have read here it's not what I want exactly.

Please, reconsider to creat the possibility to archive single task.

Hi Pepe,

Thanks for posting. Do you know that you can create a saved filter which will show all tasks except those which were completed more than X days ago so old completed tasks are automatically filtered out?

Would this work as a workaround?

    If completed tasks moved into an archive file within the project that would clean up the main overview of the project substantially. Is there already functionality for this?

    I think it would be great to be able to archive all completed tasks, forgive me if you can already but I can only see the option to delete the completed tasks.

    The filter is a decent work-around, however I agree that it would be great to have the ability to archive individual tasks.

    @Pepe - I understand that it is not a replacement but a workaround which many users use to totally hide all completed tasks. Just add Status 'Completed', Date completed 'Last month' so you will never see tasks completed more than a month ago. BUT, if you want to see/search those - just turn off your current filter , see all tasks, search and check old task before applying filter and hiding them again.
