Tasks - allow descriptions for subtasks
Especially for subtasks it would be great if it would be easier to include a link instead of, or with a description. Recognizing a link could be possible through recognizing http:// or https:// . Especially for reading lists where there's no need to attach files!
It is possible to have on all paid plans. Please check about the free and paid plan subtasks differences here https://freedcamp.com/Freedcamp_LxR/Freedcamp_Devel_yOf/wiki/wiki_public/view/6Zaab

It looks like you are using free Subtasks. We have it all in Subtasks Pro https://freedcamp.com/marketplace/subtasks_app available on all paid plans.

Right now, you have one field for a subtask: plain text.
What I would like to see, is one of two options:
1) add a second field, which links to a (file or) webpage. In the overview, add an icon that leads to the resource.
2) recognize when people insert a url into the description field, and make the link clickable in the overview (you could even collapse it to allow text behind it).Example of a use case: if you have a reading list as one of the tasks, the subtasks could include news articles, papers and documentation. Great to keep track of. Many tasks have also an item that includes reading up on the topic, documentation etc. It would be nice if you could just click on the link and get started without copypasting.
Hope that clarifies.
