Global tasks - the same task appearing in multiple task groups or projects
Be able to assign a task to multiple task groups or projects. The same task (not a duplicate) can be applied to multiple task groups or projects. This is useful when a task might be relevant to concurrent goals and when its due date and completion is relevant to multiple projects.
Example1: Include relevant tasks in a Weekly Meeting project by adding or removing only those tasks that are relevant to the current week's meeting. The tasks still exist in their primary project for execution.
Example2: A task related to updating the website can live in 'Website' project, and can also live concurrently in 'Current Sprint' project and 'Customer View' project.
Asana and Wrike both support this very useful feature:

Currently you can copy tasks and task groups to multiple projects, but when you update one version, the copy does not auto update. This seems like an essential piece of this request. Example: Task in Project A is shared with Project B. Copy task in Project A to Project B. Update task in Project A, and updates automatically appear in the copied task in Project B. Without this autoupdate, the copy feature is useless to my workflow.

Assign a task to multiple projects, or even share the whole task list among projects would be awesome!

This is one of the very few things that is causing my fully remote team UX difficulties, but it's a BIG one. Our last PM tool wasn't too great, but we didn't realize how much of a difference it would make to not be able to multi-select task assignees/groups. :(
