Integrate Tasks and Time applications in Freedcamp
- Track time directly from task
- Allow recording multiple time entries per task/issue by different people with optionally providing a short description
- In Tasks and Issue Tracker applications, display time worked with the ability to expand to see individual time entries

What's the ETA on this feature? I'm waiting almost 5 years for it.

@Nicola - please contact help@freedcamp.com with questions. Uservoice is not the best tool to do it
"Remaining question: How do the remainder directors see their employee timesheeting activity pls?"- set them as project group administrators in project groups they need to pull time from and they will be able so from Tasks Board as boss #1
Check Manage System walkthrough https://drive.google.com/open?id=1NMSWtU8uXQqFs2kYTMMgdTdukXJIdXLB, please.

I've found half of my answer:
Currently i think my employer cant see my timesheeting even though he is a administrator / highest perms a/c user? i.e Do I have to export my own xls time sheets and send to employer?
1. Yes: 1 of my 3 bosses (3 directors) can see everyone's timesheeting via the export xls feture on the tasks dashboard.https://freedcamp.com/dashboard/tasks
2. Remaining question: How do the remainder directors see their employee timesheeting activity pls?
Feature request:
"
- allow to pull time records by person, project, task / time record completion status with better granularity (for example from this date to that date).

I would quite like to have the option of either HH:MM OR Decimal hours eg. 1.6 for 01:36.

Hi,
For our customers interested in our Enterprise plan and missing some functionality, I suggest using enterprise@freedcamp.com. There is always a possibility to re-prioritize some features development for you.

@FreedcampTeam
When can we expect this feature to be available? From this thread, I can see that you have mentioned that you will start working on in Q1 2018 onwards.
We are looking into going for an enterprise plan for our team and this feature is super critical to our project planning.
Really hope to get a response on this!

Maybe someone already requested this, but it would be cool if the time displayed in the task view itself or at least a hyperlink to the related timer. I was looking through historical tasks and there's not a visual indicator that a timer is even associated with the task. The only way to know is to dig through the list of timers to see if the task has one." -

I really would like to see the Time Estimates, and then perhaps remaining estimates, like Jira. I use Freedcamp for home projects, and my personal time is a premium. That's why I need to know if my list of tasks is realistic. I want to be able to run reports (if only from XLSX exports) to determine my velocity.

Hi Igor,
We're considering freedcamp but this is a critical feature for our decision. Is there an updated ETA from Q1 2018?
-
@Mark - imagine tasks/time are already integrated and in addition, you can keep adding time to a task entry each having own description. For example,
Task - Create a web site - total 15h 15 min
time entry 1 - 15 May 3:30 - setting up web hosting account
time entry 2 - 15 May 5:00 - installing WordPress
time entry 3 - 16 May 6:45 - installing themes and pluginsDo you want to add tags to a task or also to each activity - time entry?

I would like to add a suggestion and get an update on improvements to time features. Is there a plan to add custom fields to time tracking? I'd like to be able to define time by activity, in addition to the specific project/task. For me, the hourly billing rate varies by activity.

@Lucia - thanks for the feedback and appreciation of our work from everyone here @freedcamp

Hi, regarding the time tracker add-on, it would be great if we could have a start/stop button on the parent task, to keep record of the amount of time spent on it, to have an overall view of the time spent in each project. Additionally, there should be an option to add time after (in case we forgot to press start, we could add time entries retrospectively.
Thus, answering the questions one of your team members posted on https://freedcamp.com/marketplace/5 I would say the following:
- I want to be able to record time on parent tasks. And I do like the option to see time worked on parent task itself and flip to see a sum of times of each project. Then, we could see an overall analysis of time dedicated to each project, or a weekly summary of how long we spent working in each project.I recently discovered Freedcamp and I LOVE it, this is the only thing that's missing for me to be perfect! Great job guys! My most sincere congratulations, I have been looking for an app like this that integrates all this functions and applications so nicely!

All of the time functions that are being talked about here would be great. The problem is I need these functions now! Does anyone know of a product that I can use until Freedcamp gets their time functions to a better place.
