Integrate Tasks and Time applications in Freedcamp
- Track time directly from task
- Allow recording multiple time entries per task/issue by different people with optionally providing a short description
- In Tasks and Issue Tracker applications, display time worked with the ability to expand to see individual time entries

Hi All,
We will provide ETA when we will actually start working on this part and status here will be changed to ‘started’.
Thanks
Igor

Hello,
It would be interesting to have more filters for time exports.
For example, it would be possible to export for a project all the tasks + the estimated time (which will be added soon) + the time consumed.
Kind regards

There are at least half a dozen new requests for this feature. IT is really necessary to be able to:
1. estimate how much time it will take
2. log how much time you spent on this (anybody can log time, not only the assignee)
3. comment when you log time, to explain why you logged -> this should come as a different style comment
4. in a future expansion, be able to extrapulate data regarding time estimates and time spent.as for the percentage, it can simply be how much time you spent on how much you estimate -> I don't personally see value in this metric.

this is really a part of this: https://freedcamp.uservoice.com/forums/126945-suggestions-for-features/suggestions/2082345-integrate-tasks-and-time-applications-in-freedcamp isn't it?

Would really love to have this and have it visible on the task line item when in list mode, kanban, and in the calendar export.

Are there any news about this?

I would be happy just having all date fields upgraded to date/time fields so that we can easily schedule the tasks. Honestly the events is a lot less useful and would be better replaced with just the tasks that have time and date scheduling. You could add a type of task called "Meeting" This would take care of the meeting function.

Hi, I am trialing the Business version and would be prepared to contribute something extra to get this facility and the task estimate feature implemented. Is there any way to do get this happening?
cheers

Hi, is there an estimated date for release of this feature?

I just purchased Freedcamp and I’m horribly disappointed that time tracking (or even selecting time of day for a task) isn’t a feature. It’s like Project Management 101...I was hoping to use this program in time boxing around time estimates.
I’m a former project manager (professionally) and now a business owner looking to use my PM skills to manage it all.
Also the ability to do dependencies that are more than just visual lines in a Gantt chart. If one task gets pushed out (date), it should push the dependent task dates without needing to manually update the due dates.
I see the same suggestions dating back to 2015. So I’m thinking either of these features just aren’t a priority for release any time soon?

Not only Tasks, but also issues should be able to be related to Time Efforts. We need to get proper time consumption reports in order charge clients properly

I like to track my time to time using pomodoro technique so I get a more clear idea about my opportunity costs of accepting a project. Let me suggest you to take a look to this "simple" app where they nail down the time tasks very well: http://www.focustodo.cn/

This was a planned feature back in jan 2014, and it is still not implemented? What happened?

Is this still planned? Like, can I start tracking time when I view a task?

I would really like a way to easily assign a time (perhaps in 15 min intervals) to any task or subtask. They should be very fast to add - like a Priority or Progress - just drag it over.
I did see you can now associate a task to a time entry, but honestly, I don't want to complete a task, then go create a time entry for it. I want to just say, that took 15 mins and move on.
Any word on better integration on tasks and times?

What's the ETA on this feature? I'm waiting almost 5 years for it.

@Nicola - please contact help@freedcamp.com with questions. Uservoice is not the best tool to do it
"Remaining question: How do the remainder directors see their employee timesheeting activity pls?"- set them as project group administrators in project groups they need to pull time from and they will be able so from Tasks Board as boss #1
Check Manage System walkthrough https://drive.google.com/open?id=1NMSWtU8uXQqFs2kYTMMgdTdukXJIdXLB, please.

I've found half of my answer:
Currently i think my employer cant see my timesheeting even though he is a administrator / highest perms a/c user? i.e Do I have to export my own xls time sheets and send to employer?
1. Yes: 1 of my 3 bosses (3 directors) can see everyone's timesheeting via the export xls feture on the tasks dashboard.https://freedcamp.com/dashboard/tasks
2. Remaining question: How do the remainder directors see their employee timesheeting activity pls?
Feature request:
"
- allow to pull time records by person, project, task / time record completion status with better granularity (for example from this date to that date).
