Custom tags
In addition to existing tags: Project users, statuses of tasks (completed/in progress) etc. would great to be able to define custom tag categories and custom tags within the categories so we can tag tasks with anything we set up for ourselves. For example: have category Type with tags: Idea, Confirmed feature, Rejected feature or category Version with tags 1.0, 1.1 etc.

Hi All,
It is released now – https://blog.freedcamp.com/2018/11/26/new-feature-tags/

I would love to see tags also. They can be the same across the boards but there must be at least 10. I work on projects that involve many different non-profits in collaboration and it would be great to be able to at a glance see which organizations are involved or supporting which project and which organization that project or task is for.

Labeling would be a great up for Freedcamp. Significant function. The best would be if we could add previously saved labels tot asks and subtasks same drag and drop way we can add dates and priorities, and also when creating task/subtask, on the editing panel there would be a drop down menu option to instantly add a label to task/subtast. I think this is missing the most from Freedcamp currently.

We really need to be able to create custom tags. The tags can be the same across all projects and yes we also need the ability to add multiple tags.
Thanks!

Custom tags are a very flexible feature which I'd really be happy to see. As long as we can assign 0 or more tags to each ticket and then filter by them, we can use the system any way we'd like :)
They could be the same across projects and possibly some could be hidden as well. -

I am also very interested in this feature.

Hi Igor,
Any updates on being able to create custom labels which can be applied to TODOs?Thanks.

I think a separate label module, which allows the user to make custom labels. I would be willing to pay for such a module, it would make it all so much easier!

Cannot tell you how useful this would be. Any chance of a date?

FREEDCAMP STAFF:
Is there an ETA on the custom tags/labels? I need to be able to see things like "waiting for contract" "needs director's approval" etc.

I would like to see tags available so I can have many-to-many relationships between projects and tasks. For instance, I might have a subtask in project A that also affects an task in another project, Project B. Then I could search for all tags relating to Project B and the task in Project A would appear in my task list with Project B tasks when I do that kind of search, but not when I only list tasks for Project B.
Thanks for listening.

Tags should live across all projects. That way a Tag view can show all tasks, events, etc. with that tag.

Tags/labels would be fantastic. I need a way to be able to easily and quickly identify (and search) for issue's and tasks assigned to a dev. environment, device group, build number etc.
Not like Trello though, colour means nothing to me as every board has a different labeling format. Definitely not like LeanKit, where you need to hover over the tag icon to display the labels. More Like Asana where text and colours are used.

Tags, similar to labels at Trello or tags at Asana, would be great!
