An API which allows other tools to access Freedcamp project data
When activated, the application could open up a Web Services API (perhaps REST-based) which allows information about projects and other data within freedcamp to be polled by external applications for reporting, and in order to better integrate with third-party applications.
Hi All,
It is launched and available on all plans including the Free plan.
Missing some API calls? Please post here in comments.
Cheers,
Igor

Something like app-provided comments would be nice. For example todo related git commit overview - and by button redirect to something like GitHub or Bitbucket.

Hi Tim,
Want to publicly thank you for finding Dashboard widgets filtering bug.
Please post here or directltly to me what you have in mind. Building outside via API and building inside Freedcamp's platform - pros and cons for you?

We are very interested in the API. We would like to build apps that work together with freedcamp.

A Zapier connector / webhooks to get external apps updated on changes happened in Freedcamp

Hi David,
We are planning to start working on API later this year. What kind of integration you are looking to with Podio?

Hi Igor...I'm trying to figure out how to integrate with Podio. Is there an API or some way for me to work with my programmers?

Adding projects and people. Assigning access to people. I'm working on a start-up that would make use of such integration.

I would love to see this. It would be nice to have FULL CRUD support (or just CRU). Then I could add a simpler "submit a bug" page on our web site (access protected) which would feed freed camp. then could then update and read the current status without logging into FreedCamp. Customers are notoriously lazy... 1 less login/step for them to remember

I would love to integrate Freedcamp with our internal tools, and maybe even Microsoft Exchange and Trello.

Yes very interested still. Want to make an internal freedcamp for work that is truely mobile and doesnt have clunky interfaces.

Its been a while now. Wheres that API? I noticed you guys did some updates but what about fixing some of the basic bugs like opening a description for a task and keeping it up. And wheres the mobile? The mobile version isn't really mobile. You should work on that. Or I could help? ConsultingJoe.com (PHP/mySQL/jQuery)

Can't wait for this. Creating a local networking project site. Using freedcamp api for grassroots volunteer projects across the city.
