Importing contacts from Excel, is that for specific group / project or to all groups
an another important item, there is no global search only for projects, how about customers or leads? -

exactly, a central access point to all contacts entered in all the projects

Do you mean showing all invited people? CRM is a project group application - so in this case - showing all people invited to projects in that project group?
