Creating new tasks using the mouse is both tedious and un-ergonomic

I also miss many keyboard shortcuts that are usual in any software. Like closing the detail window in the calender with escape.

Agreed, this is where Asana and Trello really have a leg up on Freedcamp - I love how much easier Freedcamp makes it to give an overview of a project then Trello, but not having shortcuts slows down my productivity too much - I hope they take this into account soon =/

Or like JIRA, e.g. "a" to assign, "i" to assign to self.

Also some for the alternative confirmation buttons: in particular would like to have a "Ctrl+<something>" combination for the "Save and add another" options when creating tasks or subtasks so can quickly add multiple items without needing mouse input
