Email-In - allow to set start and due dates via email subject
It would be awesome if there was a way that we could set due dates when using the Email-In function.

Hi,
Thanks for posting! Will the following text inside the email body
→ 30/08/18
- Create design 10/08/18 <→ 15/08/18
- Implement design 16/08/18 <→ 25/08/18
which will create a task from email with a due date 30 Aug and two subtasks with start/due dates work for you?
Regards,
Igor

Tasks created by inbound email can still be "overlooked" as there is no automatic due date assigned to them. By setting a due date automatically, calculated from receival date/time, the due date alerts the application admin (or assigned person) that there is still a task waiting. The number of days to set the due days should be set in the application setup, to allow personal preference.

hi there, this is not working for me. Is there an update to this? The dates are not being created in the task.

My suggestion, more consistent with the way Email-in supports setting of location on the Subject line for Files....
I'd like to see support for setting Start & Due dates the same way, for Tasks.
That is, Subject Line:
"My Task Description /Start 10/18/2018 /Due 10/31/2018"
Creates the task, sets description and adds Start & Due dates.

This would be phenomenal. I agree!! Thanks in advance for the update. When can we expect it to be implemented?

Let's start with start/due date. Please note if you email in into the free plan project - start date will be ignored.
Add the following into email subject:
->15/08/18 This is my email subject line
- this will create a task with a due date
15/08/18-> This is my email subject line
- this will create a task with a start date
15/08/18<->20/08/18 This is my email subject line
- this will create a task with a start date and a due date

Hello Igor!
Thanks for getting back to me! Yes, that would work great! Just to make sure that I understand correctly, it would appear something like this in an email:
"Example Task -> 30/08/18
[tab] 1. Subtask A 10/08/18<->15/08/18
[tab] 2. Subtask B 16/08/18<->25/08/18"Thanks for your help with this, it's going to be a really helpful feature!!
Kind regards,
Tianna
