Recurrent projects
It would be great if I could create a recurring project that is due every month for instance a monthly reconciliation project or monthly reports project.

You can simply set a task (recurring) 'Create Monthly Reports' project task recurring monthly to remind you and use Project Templates (Business plan) to create a new project from a template project you pre-created with all the tasks required.
