Tags - make visible on task overview pages
I'd love to see tags (optionally) visible when viewing task "overview" pages (like the Tasks Board, Widgets Board, etc).
My team often has tasks on which we can't move forward until a stakeholder provides feedback or additional materials, and sometimes this will cause the task to become overdue. However, when viewing one of the task "overview" pages, it's difficult to tell at a glance whether tasks are overdue because of my team, or because we're waiting on the stakeholder(s).
It would be nice if we could add a "Waiting" tag or something similar to those tasks, and have that tag visible when looking at the Tasks Board, etc., which would make it much easier to differentiate which tasks are holding on the stakeholder(s).
Thanks!

It is now supported in the List, Kanban, and Table views.
We also launched Custom statuses for tasks – https://freedcamp.com/Freedcamp_LxR/Freedcamp_Devel_yOf/wiki/wiki_public/view/Espab

It would be even more usefull the option to add colors to specific tag. For example "Waiting" could have yellow background, but for other custom tags, you want a different color.

Yes, this! The ability to see tags on the task board would make a huge difference for me. I've resorted to using the three status tags to mean things like "Waiting for X" so I can see at a glance where my holdups are, what needs follow-up, etc. Custom tags do me little good if I have to go into individual tasks to see whether they're applied, or run a filter on a task board.

Fully agree with tags like "waiting" need to be visible on the overview. Also for my time management with Eisenhower Matrix I need to see "urgence" vs. "importance" tags in the overview.
Pls. don´t forget about this as your last comment is almost a year old now. Thanks!
And ... btw. ... HAPPY NEW DECADE to all guys involved in this developmen!!t

Absolutely essential - It is already becoming a bit of a pain to click into each task to find this sort information.

The ability to add tags to any entry (whether it be bugs or task and CRM) would be fantastic. Obviously the ability to filter by tasks would be great too.

I too believe it would be helpful. In my case we may have the same task for both frontend developers and backend developers. I would then set both "backend" and "frontend" tags and when the backend team ends would remove the backend tag. On the same route, we could even create tags for each developer so that would workaroung the "assign a task to multiple people" issue.

I think this is a great idea. I also think that it would be very helpful to export "tags" to be able to organise reports by tag. Our tasks on Freedcamp have become our "actions' for different projects that intersection with each other. We use tags to reflect those intersections and it would be very helpful to be able, not just to view the tags, but to export them. Thanks!!!!!I

This would be very helpful. I came to these forums today looking for a way that I could mark tasks as being blocked, or to filter them out, anything, just so I don't have "in progress" tasks which are assigned to me but I can't do anything with from appearing on my task list.
Psychologically its tasking not to be able to see at-a-glance that I've completed everything I'm able to complete at this moment.
If I could set a tag of 'blocked' on a task and see it in the list, that would suffice. If I could set a tag of 'blocked' on a task and then filter tasks which are NOT marked as blocked, that would be terrific, but it seems I can only create a filter to search for the existence of tags, not their absence.
