Chrome extension - to add an url/website as a task
With the option to choose project and task list. Meta title should be used as title for the task.
Please post in comments what should happen when the URL is added as a task.
For example, page title becomes a task title, URL – description of a task, etc.

I would give this one five votes if I could. This would be HUGE in helping win over disaffected Evernote users.
currently I am using a chrome extension called "shared link via email" and it is configured with a Freedcamp mail in email address. It literally just puts the the url in the body of the email and sends it out. But even that is somewhat helpful.
If you look at the Evernote Webclipper you might get a better idea of some options. But it's very complicated.
If you want to pick just one thing that is simple but relatively useful, what I'd do is this:
You configure the "freedcamp clipper" with task list, wiki list, or discussion list that you want to be where the clips get stored. That would be the default.
When you're on a page in the browser and you trigger the freedcamp clipper it pops up a modal to give you an option to override the default location for where to store the "clip." or you just bang the enter key and it does it.
I think what I would use the most is if the page title went into the Freedcamp title. Then a hot link for the current URL goes in at the top. Followed by a paragraph break followed by the description meta field for the page, possibly the og:image image as well.
That would be enough to remind me why I wanted to save the page. Then I can go back to the page and copy and paste what I need out of it.
I've seen other web clipper extensions that try to copy the whole body of the page but that rarely generates anything useful. It always requires reformatting and it always ends up looking awful.
One possibility is that if the user has selected anything on the page that selection also gets copied into the destination item in freedcamp.
But for my workflow at least, page title, hotlink url, meta description and og:image would be enough for me. For my work flow, I would designate a "slush" or "clips" taks list. And once the clipper put stuff in there, I can go through and review it, go back to the page and copy and paste stuff out of it, set reminders, etc etc and then move the task item to an appropriate project in freedcamp.
