I'd like to downvote this one. Instead of a native android app, I'd prefer to use a well designed mobile version of freedcamp. It's actually already pretty darn good, but it could use some work. Native apps are often less capable than mobile optimized versions of websites.

Sorry folks,
I forgot one thing, between the options 1. and 2.:2a. Click on the menu options of the browser;
2b. Click on "Add to Homescreen" option; -

Hey there,
For who don't know, you can add a "like app interface" for Freedcamp from your mobile browser (I use Chrome for Android), doing the following:1. Open your Freedcamp dashboard (freedcamp.com/dashboard) on your mobile browser;
2. Click on "Add to Homescreen" option;
3. Change the name to "Freedcamp" or other of your choice;
4. Access the web-app created and you'll see Freedcamp like an app on your device (but still running the browser view).For me this is more productive than use it on browser, and for now is the best option to use Freedcamp on my smartphone.
And yes, I would like an Android app to!

Please release Android app.
A friend likes Freedcamp, but is using Producteev only because it has an Android app. It's a shame... -

I also recommend Freedcamp team to release a mobile app asap, in the same time I bet they are working on that already!
If they can compete with the efficientcy of basecamp and have a mobile app as well, I will pay for it right away! Wish the freedcamp team the best luck !

I fully support this suggestion, Freedcamp as an Android application instead of the browser view.

Not " great to have ". Should have. I think an Android application is a must. As using freedcamp in a mobile browser is difficult. Both on tablets and phones.
This will also open up freedcamp to a whole new set of users. -
