This would be a total game changer–please add this necessary feature!

Would be really helpful to have desktop notification so the team can be notified every time without having to check their email all the time.

Been a user for a week and find this addition would be very handy

We should have option to enable & disable desktop notifications. Specially from Ewall or Discussions

Also a small notification sound is played so that we know a new notification has come.

But does the activity widget show live notifications? I had to keep refreshing my page to get the activity show on the screen.

Can we get the activity notifications updated without having to refresh the site?

Have you tried - Dashboard -> Activity widget? You can set as many as you want by project or all.

I'm sitting here on my laptop and the only way I know to have a new comment or such is my email on my phone...

perhaps just a box with a quick link.

Realtime Push Notifications would help a lot. It would be great if I could see everything that is happening no matter on which page I am at the moment. (like facebook notifications)
