3rd party apps and apps marketplace
Currently there are limited apps in the market place and there are so many features being requested day by day. Is it possible to explore how it can be allowed (in a controlled way) for the developer community to create useful in demand customizations as plugins or apps ?
Example 1: I want to add a widget that has most sought after notification template such as Milestones slippage, people are have not started tasks or not progress etc.
Example 2: Create an integration plugin for dropbox so the links from dropbox files can be inserted to the tasks. And if files are uploaded then it is stored in the default cloud storage with a link only in the task.
I believe this can reduce the pressure on the core development team and also allow the feature in demand to make it to the market faster. It could potentially create a solid app store with many useful apps which people of ready to buy.
I like the platform as it is simple and clean however to really succeed it needs the additional features that everybody needs, most importantly the users should be allowed to pick and choose the features and keep the core platform clean and simple.

Hi Vinod,
Thanks for posting. We actually have 100s of requests from software developers who want to launch own application or module in Freedcamp. We are 100% with you and it has been always our dream. However platform creation is not an easy task especially in a freemium product offering 90% of functionality free. This is why we are working on metrics investors want to see and already talking to investors to raise enough to finally create native mobile clients, even more simplify users experience to a point it is easy to start to use as GMail and Dropbox AND launch platform developers can use. I will keep your details and will get back when we are ready to invite you.
Thanks
Igor
