Issue Tracker - customisable issue properties
I'd be using issue tracker for customer enquiries not software development. So per project, I'd like to be able to edit the values of the options in Type, Priority and Status. I'd like to set the defaults for those and the Assigned to and Due date fields too.
It would be nice to be able to set the due date based on an SLA (for the priority)
Current issue types reflects software development terminology. Need to edit the list to include project and quality management terms such as Budget, Non-Conformance, Resource, Time...
I work as a physical product developer so software issues are irrelevant to us even though the issue tracker seems very nice. A simple way to just edit the list would suffice.
This is exactly what I'm looking for as well. I think many people use this outside of software development. The ability to customize the field would allow the app to fit multiple business types.

Me too!... This is exactly what I'm looking for, but I'm not a developer. So would like to be able to customize the fields. once we have them in, We would also need to be able to filter based on those items... but first things first.

I would like to edit/change the labels in the tabs under Issue Tracker to better track my classes. This would make the app much more usable :). Thanks.
I agree, this is essential for the issue tracker to work properly, especially in sorting, grouping, and so on.
I agree that the ability to customize the type and other related data fields would be imperative to this to be a worthy solution for me to use in my business.
