Integration with Zapier
Zapier is an Integration platform that allows you to easily integrate with several other applications. Most the ideas listed around Application Integrations would be covered with a Zapier integration.
Hi All,
It is launched and available on all plans including the Free plan.
Missing some Zaps? Please post here in comments – state if it is a trigger/action etc.
Cheers,
Igor

Zapier would be nice, but IFTTT would be even better!

I agree with some of the comments below - CRM project into Freedcamp, tasks from freedcamp into my personal task app, those two would be most helpful at this point.
Thanks!

Hi Steve,
We started work on allowing to create things by emailing them in - will support Tasks, Discussions and Files (uploading attachments to Files section) with no Issue Tracker suppirt at this stage.
We hired one engineer and about to hire another one. One of new guys will work on Slack/Zapier/Open API - I promise.
I am 100% agree. If you will open https://freedcamp.uservoice.com/forums/126945-suggestions-for-features/filters/top you will see that we have to do Gantt, Android, DropBox integration, recurrence, assigning tasks to multiple people etc etc
Some facts:
At this stage Freedcamp team is probably 10 times smaller Trellos and about 50 times Asana's.
Trello started by Joel Spolsky, Asana by 1st FB emlpoyee - just a bit easier to get capital to kick it off and get traction, right?I am not complaining AT ALL - we operate in own reality, making own way with resources we have and manage to bring on and by treating our customers with honesty and respect.
We don't do things faster because of this and not because we are a bunch of ignorant geeks.
Cheers,

Huge fan of this idea, which would allow easy integration between Freedcamp and all sorts of other apps. Integration with Gmail (Google Apps) to me is by far the most important.
Almost every nice project management tool out there has some widget or extension you can use to easily create tasks or discussions from within Gmail, and other services also have unique email addresses that give you an easy and quick way to get email content into their project mangement apps. Currently, I have recently tested Trello, Taskworld, and Asana - and all these services have this.
This sort of integration and other methods for sharing information between email and the project management system is what makes people (namely me) long time customers.

I'm with Dave on this issue. When a deal is changed to "won" and we select project in our CRM, we would like to have some details sent to Freedcamp and create a project under the project groups we have set. Also when a milestone had been made, it needs to add a note under the deal in the CRM. Those are the things we would like to see.

A great option would be to be able to convert an external CRM Project into a Freedcamp project - for example from Capsule or Insightly, so when you close a deal in the CRM app, it can be imported to Freedcamp as a project. This can be done with Trello using a Zap. Id pay a one of fee for activation this service.

"Essentially, I'd like to have Freedcamp integrate with IFTTT and/or Zapier. For hooks, I'd like to see something along the lines of, "If a task is moved to Completed, then alert me via email," or "If a new task is made, then post to Facebook."
Mainly, the hooks I'd use would concern a task being moved to a new category, or a task being completed, or a new calendar event being made, etc."

If you somehow allow the creation of to-do's, discussions and replies to those via API I think you will get most of the situations covered.
