  1. It would be great if you could create a Wiki Template that has all of the customized headers that users should populate when building a wiki page. Right now, I have to copy the headers into new wikis.

  2. It would be great if we could create a series of tasks that are scheduled sequentially one after the other. In our projects we have repetitive tasks that get triggered from one task or event (i.e. trigger event: Meeting, tasks associated with the trigger: prepare agenda, submit presentation, create meeting minutes, etc.). We now have to create them all individually.

    Hi Roberto,

Have you ever used or considered to use Zapier? Will you be willing to use another service to automate workflow in Freedcamp? We may not have all that is required but adding Zapier triggers and actions is much simpler since we already have Zapier integrations.

    Please reply in comments.

    Cheers,
    Igor

  4. Note: The original description was edited by Fredcamp staff

Possible hints we can provide here such as:

    • closing a task when all subtasks are completed
    • closing subtasks when a task is closed
    • changing start due dates for subtasks when higher level (sub)task is changed to match deadlines for a parent task.

Ideal implementation will be to show a prompt once and if you say 'Yes' Freedcamp will start doing this action every time.

You can go to Settings somewhere in Tasks and change these prompts to stop doing auto changes or ask you every time.

  5. It would be great if it would be possible to add an email address (or several) for a discussions for people that are not on-board with the project or on freedcamp but just need CC info for a certain discussion. I used this on basecamp before and it was very handy. These "outside email receivers" can also reply (by email) and their comment will arrive in to the discussion thread
    Thanks

    Hi,

We can only consider adding this function to only paid plans (not even paid plans trials) because Freedcamp is constantly tried by email spammers who try all they can to use us to send spam emails.

    Regards,
    Igor

    • It would be great to be able to delete just ONE date in a recurring event without deleting the WHOLE recurring event
    • It would be great to be able to schedule a recurring event that is bi-monthly - like first and third Friday each month without having to build two separate events
    • It would be great to be able to schedule a recurring event that is on the FIFTH occurrence of a day. Like every FIFTH Friday, etc.

  6. Problem: If I send an invoice to a client via the Invoice app, the email they receive is in English -- even when my personal language choice is French and the resulting invoice is available for download in French in my account.

Easy fix: please send the email and the invoice link in the navigation language chosen by the user, or:

Ideal fix: add a "language" field to the "client" record and send the email and the invoice link in that language. This way, there is no need to toggle your account setup when you send an email to another…

  7. Everyone with the link
    Everyone @mycompany.com

The ability to allow all users with a specific email domain (e.g. *@mycompany.com) to access a certain part (e.g. wiki) of my project

I would like to use wiki entries to document and share progress made from the project (kind of like a newsletter) to all company employees without having to invite each individual manually.

We have a public wiki link that is equal to “Everyone with the link”
We will be adding a global link allowing you to share it with anyone invited to any of your projects in Freedcamp (not necessarily have access to a project where a wiki is located)

  8. I wish Tasky would turn into a notebook.
This notepad could have bookmarks and reminders.
    It could also be colorful.
He could be in the app.
The function of this notepad would be to do quick writes and then pass them to tasks or events.
In this notepad audio notes could also be recorded.

  10. Automatic 2 Ways Sync with Outlook like GSync. Office 365 has over 120 Million business clients to Googles 4 million. I think integration with Office 365 is more important that Google Suite

    Few notes

    1. GSync is Freedcamp → Google – one direction
    2. Google provides developers access so once authorized we can write to users Google Calendar. Outlook is an email client only – it can be connected to Gmail, company MS Exchange server, Office365 cloud service your company subscribed to from Microsoft so in order to write to your calendar we need to know how it is set and get authorization. It is a MUCH MORE complicated task.

  11. It would be great if there was a way to share a discussion through a public link. This would be good way to share info with clients that are reluctant to create a freedcamp account to access it. This way we have to continue to use email to have discussions.

Cheers and good work so far!

  14. A simple way to export and import Wikis would be great to have, as it's already done with tasks. Either selected ones or all within a project.

This would be even more useful, if Markdown gets implemented, as proposed here: https://freedcamp.uservoice.com/forums/126945-suggestions-for-features/suggestions/4631507-markdown-support

The current solution is very unhandy, because Wikis are stored only within the backup file. In order to import a certain Wiki, you have to find the according Wiki file, then copy the html formated text area, create a new Wiki in Freedcamp and paste it there. This is very error-prone and time-consuming.

  18. Currently, there's a small notification in the top right corner when a discussion thread has a new comment. I'd love to see a further visual cue on the main discussions page when a new comment is added. Perhaps the discussion title becomes bold, or the discussion topic floats to the top of the list (or both?) This would be very helpful for those of us with many discussion threads simultaneously running.

  19. The Email In option is great. I would like to give my clients the Email In address attached to their projects. It would be awesome to be able to customize it. For example, instead of 'random letters+discussions@....', make it 'project name+discussions@....'. This way, when I onboard a new client, they get a more professional looking Email In email address - and one that is easier to remember
