Add fields "blocks" and "is blocked by" in Tasks
RE-SUBMISSION: The idea was closed because you thought that it was related to files. I'm talking about how tasks relate to each other.
The idea is to have a field where you say "I cant start this task until this other task is finished"
In Meistertask there are 2 fields on each task for this :
"Blocks" : where you select tasks that cannot be done untill after the task you are editing, and "Is blocked by", where you select tasks that you cannot do until the current task is finished.See https://ibb.co/mUHT8v for a screenshot.

We are building this feature as part of Gantt but it will only be enabled on Enterprise plan.
Task B depends on task A. So B can not be started or at least gives you a warning saying – A was not completed.

Intergrate projects with CRM
There is no way that I see when in a customer file to see the projects that we have done for them?

Issue Tracker - public UI for customers to access their tickets
Its good to adjust the Issue Tracker to more flexible module which can support both Internal Issues and External Issues.
Requirements:
-For external, there should be a link that external user can access.
-External user can define the title of the issue, priority, description, email of the external user.
-External Users should be able to post their issues and can receive replies via email

When viewing a task - add ability to hide completes subtasks option which once applied will be sticky to View Task page everywhere in user's account.

Convert a discussion to a task or issue
It would be really useful to be able to convert a discussion to a new task. Quite often discussion leads to something that should be done or customers are posting requests as discussions, although they should be tasks. (You just can't handle them... ;)

Ability to have an address tied to google map (account tie in or link) so that team members can see the location of a meetup.

Discussions - close discussed topic
Once the topic has been successfully discussed and results have been formed, it is important to close the topic. There are other users, who were to continue to post more messages on the final post, where the summery of the results were posted.
There should be an option to "Close" the discussed topic.
Currently there is only option to "make it private" however, make it private restricts others to see the posts. The others should be able to see the posts, but no more comments can be done once the topic is closed by the topic owner.

I can share what we do
1. Edit discussion name and prefix with [CLOSED]
2. Post a comment with bold big text. ‘Discussion is closed’ If you want you can post a link to a task which continues it etc so people can follow in the same last comment.
Typically this is enough.

Add total estimated time to projects
We usually estimate a project by how much time we will spend on it. It wold be great to be able to add a total amount of time estimated next to the total time used. It would be even better if then it shows you how much time you have left to complete the project.
This should be a relatively simple feature to add but would make a big difference to tracking projects.16 votes -
Choose a different email address for notifications per group
I use Freedcamp to track projects across three different groups and outside of Freedcamp each group has an unqiue email address.
However, the current setup only allows a single email address to be used globally.
This means I have to manually move Freedcamp notification emails between my email accounts, which takes a lot of time.
This could be fixed by:
1. Allow users to enter multplie email addresses in their Freedcamp profile
2. Allow the user to select the email address associated with each groupThanks

Link to previously uploaded file
Currently you can upload a file in many places, but I would like to have the same file associated with many different tasks, comments, and discussions. Right now you have to upload the same file to each item you would like to attach it to. That file then gets duplicated (and triplicated, and...) in the Files app, rendering that app essentially useless because of all of the clutter. Customizable Issue Report Widget
It would be great to be able to customize the embeddable issue reporter widget in code level. There are some suggestions below:
Custom label names or i18n translation for form labels:
We don't need sophisticated i18n features, but probably simple options for setting label names would be sufficient for now.
Default title or body prefix:
Default value is powerful since it can prefix title or body as customized templates. And it can be used as additional contexts of when and where an issue is reported, so issues can be dealt efficiently.

Customisation of UserRoles
Hi Freedcampgroup,
so far im very happy with your tool. but 1 think im reallyx missing is the function to set individual role permissions. just a simlpe checkbox list which role is able to use which function. your predefined roles are not bad, but for several use cases i would like to have the option to define my own user roles with own rights. cazse right now setting up this project this can be a show-stopper for me :(
