  1. It would be nice to create different Event types that are color coordinated. For example, for calendar, I'd like to separate national holidays as a type event (and a different color) from a product release type of event. Visually, I can discern what events are approaching so I can prioritize marketing campaigns accordingly.

  3. Not sure if I'm just missing how to do this, but when I look at my dashboard calendar and open up the list of to-dos on a certain day, I'd love to be able to click into that to-do item directly, rather than needing to find it by searching through the many different projects I am working on.

  4. All of our contacts live in Google's Contacts. Need to be able to 2-way sync with this database so all CRM information links to Google Contacts. It looks like you already have Google Calendar Sync, Google Contact sync is even more important. As many Google Contact fields as possible should sync. Name, company, phone, email, address, notes, picture, etc. Thank you!!

  5. Hi, thank you so much for Freedcamp, it's great for my business needs.

One feature which would be of use to me is to be able to manually input dates rather than picking from a calendar. The calendar picker is great for dates which are soon, but for long-time-in-the-future tasks (like several years in the future - e.g. deadlines for destroying confidential project data) it takes a while to click through all the months to get to where you need to be, and I can't see a way of editing a date without using the date picker.

    Thanks.

  6. the date entry fields for Calendar, Milestones, Task Due Dates, etc are unable to parse dates of the following form, such that copy & pasting such values from other sources usually ends up just defaulting the field to "tomorrow". If one just clicks "OK" on the dialog before hitting "enter" to validate the field, the wrong date gets recorded silently.

The only format that is accepted is
    Dec 9, 2016 (mmm d, yyyy)

    Failing formats:
    Friday, December 9, 2016
    December 9, 2016
    December 9
    Dec 9
    Dec 9 2016
    12/9/16
    12/09/16
    2016/12/09
    16/12/9

    etc.

    The date entry widget should…

  8. So these are the three main things that are making me reconsider using FreedCamp.

Recurring tasks are a big deal for most businesses but I feel that here they are done in a weird way and makes the whole process contradictory to what it's supposed to be.

When I set a recurring task, I expect the task to behave in a logical way: to appear in my list on the days I chose (regardless of the start or end dates) - I do not want to see a duplicate of the task before the recurrence date - unless I go…

Please repost each suggestion separately or we will. We try to separate requests and do not have here a collection of unmanageable wish lists.

Re: “I don’t want to see the tasks I completed – why can’t they be archived automatically?” the answer is simple – there are users who do not want them to be automatically archived so we provide an advanced and user-friendly filtering system when you can set what you want to see – for example, upcoming tasks only.

Thanks for posting and your understanding.
