Task / Event Workflow
It would be great if we could create a series of tasks that are scheduled sequentially one after the other. In our projects we have repetitive tasks that get triggered from one task or event (i.e. trigger event: Meeting, tasks associated with the trigger: prepare agenda, submit presentation, create meeting minutes, etc.). We now have to create them all individually.

Have you ever used or considered to use Zapier? Will you be willing to use another service to automate workflow in Freedcamp? We may not have all that is required but adding Zapier triggers and actions is much simpler since we already have Zapier integrations.

Define notification settings by calendar event
Choose notification settings for each event in the calendar instead of using user global settings.

Show an event on the calendar every day
It would be so useful to have the possibility to show an event on the calendar every day the event is still on. For example: the event starts on the 28th of May and ends on the 3rd of July - it will now only show on the calendar on the start date and the end date. But we would love to have the option to make it show on the calendar every day inbetween as well, so we have an overview of all the event days.

Calendar - add event lists allowing to categorize events
Currently with Tasks (and Discussions) I can go to the top right of the page, click on the gear (Settings) icon, then click on "Manage Task Groups" to create/edit/delete/order Task Groups. It would be great to have the same capability on the Calendar app for Events.
The "Manage Event Groups" feature would work exactly the same as the "Manage Task Groups" feature with the same UI layout and capabilities.

Different Event types that are color coordinated.
It would be nice to create different Event types that are color coordinated. For example, for calendar, I'd like to separate national holidays as a type event (and a different color) from a product release type of event. Visually, I can discern what events are approaching so I can prioritize marketing campaigns accordingly.

Calendar - type an exact time for an event
Ability to type the exact time for an calendar event instead of selecting from a drop down-menu and only in steps of 15 minutes.
I would like this because I have many calendar-events which begin at 13:10 till 14:20 for example.
For me it would be good enough when the drop down-menu has steps of 15 minutes but with the possibility to type the exact time manually when necessary.7 votes -
More options in recurring events
- It would be great to be able to delete just ONE date in a recurring event without deleting the WHOLE recurring event
- It would be great to be able to schedule a recurring event that is bi-monthly - like first and third Friday each month without having to build two separate events
- It would be great to be able to schedule a recurring event that is on the FIFTH occurrence of a day. Like every FIFTH Friday, etc.

New Calendar Improvement - remove calendar and recurring symbol so the title of the event can be read on month view
On the new calendar layout, the little calendar event symbol and recurring event symbol make it so there is little room left for the actual name of the event to show in month view. Do those need to be there? It would be great just to have the name of the event. If you want to separate event from task, color coding would be a great way to distinguish between them without taking up precious space. Color coding would distinguish recurring from one time events, if you really feel that needs to be called out in some way.…

Include the event date in Calendar email notifications and activity feed
All team members are allowed to add events such as time off. I like having the new event notification, however, it does not include the date of the event. When I go to the calendar to review, I have to hunt for the event. The activity feed only includes the date created not the actual date of the event.

Calendar events with recurrence
If we have an event that happens regularly, it would be nice to be able to be able to make it show up on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly basis.

Gantt chart - display events
Events should appear in Gantt chart overview to prevent conflicting events/tasks. An event is just a planned fixed task. It would help scheduling to be able to see those events within the Gantt chart view without having to duplicate the event as a separate task.

Suggest New Time - Calendar Event
Allow the people invited to a meeting to suggest a new time if the proposed time doesn't fit their schedule. This would especially be useful in the email notification that is sent to the invitee.

The ability to fyi others in the company about events via a functionality to post a single event to multiple calendars.

Add start/end time or duration for Calendar events
With the ability to link to outlook, it is critical to have either a duration or end-time of an meeting/event to be displayed in the calendar and outlook/ical calendar.

Calendar with multi-day events
I would like to be able to add to the calendar a multi-day event. This could be used for scheduling meetings and conferences. It could be simply a to-do that has the ability to have a due date that spans a range or something. While it wouldn't be terrible to see it appear as multiple consecutive daily tasks, it would be best to have it display as a single item that has a visual marker that spans multiple days (color coded with priority).

User color tag for users on Project Calendar
Please add tag for user on Project Calendar so that we can track for user activity, and it would be nice if the event on the calendar with the start and finish date event with time and block the calendar with the event.

Calendar events should show in My Work on Homepage
As we cannot enter times for task, we are using the Calendar Event function for this. It would be good if anyone assigned/invited to a calendar event also sees this in the 'My Work' summary on the homepage dashboard.
