More options on the editor would be great, including highlighting text, colour. It is normally part of a standard editor programme so not sure why it is turned off on Freedcamp's one.

Any update on this please Igor? :)

    Hi All,

We are resuming work on this now. It will improve what we show on Notifications page for all plans but Activity/History tabs will be added to all paid plans only.

    Cheers,
    Igor

Any update on this Igor? It is quite frustrating to look back on task comments and there is no date or time stamp to refer to. Eg. If a comment was left a month ago, I should be able to see the date and time it was left - not "about a month ago" or "3 months ago". some of our projects go for months and it can be critical to know this info.
    Thanks :)

    Hi Katie,

We will change a way it is done. All changes done during 30 min or so(1) interval by one or different users will be combined into one email.

    (1) – if users keep updating an item we will not wait more than 30 min and will send email with all changes made. But, if there were 7 updates in the first 5 min interval, for example, and no more updates in 5 minutes – we will send email in 10 min with 7 changes made on item. This approach can adapt and wait just a bit longer if people are actively participating collecting updates to send fewer emails, while still limited to 30 min chunks of time to make sure you haven’t missed important conversation by receiving email update too late.

    Do you like this approach?

    Cheers,
    Igor

    Hi Igor

It would be great to have the option to "turn off" the "in progress" emails. Often our team will complete a task straight away (as there is no need for it to be in progress), but they have to click twice to complete it, and the other team members included in that task get 2 emails when only one is required. It would also be ideal to be able to choose the status in one step instead of 2 (if I want to complete immediately). A dropdown option would be good (as i know there is development to include more status options, which I am looking forward to as well for specific projects! :) :) Cheers!

Sounds great Igor! Hopefully it won't take too long for it to be implemented (dependent on the others in the priority list of course).

    :)

    Hi Igor
Any update on this a few months later? Would be keen to know if this is in the works and when it may be available. Am finding I need this feature more and more now.
    Thanks! :)

    Hi,

Here is an update. We are working in 2016 on top features – http://freedcamp.uservoice.com/forums/126945-suggestions-for-features/filters/top just because we do not have resources to do all features including this one.

It perfectly makes sense but … we do not have resources to do it. If you love Freedcamp – do consider upgrading and paying us as little money as you can afford as it helps to deliver features faster.

Please do read this to see where we are – http://blog.freedcamp.com/2015/11/25/sponsor-feature-development-get-freedcamp-life-time-free-with-unlimited-storage/

    Cheers,
    Igor

Hi Igor, any update on this from a year ago? I have various project groups that I need to list separately as widgets (such as leads, sales, auctions, etc) and I have to manually add them to the widget after the project has been created - a lot of unnecessary "handling" when it should be automatically added. I have other team members who forget to do this, and therefore their projects get missed being followed up on (out of sight, out of mind). Thanks :)

I agree - It would be great to be able to archive/hide individual discussions when they are "completed". I have about 30 discussions going on one project at the moment and it is messy that I can't "complete" them like a task and "hide" them like individual ToDos. At the moment I have to group them, but they are not "hidden" and take up too much of my screen.
Please say that this is still being worked on, and an approximate release date? Thanks :)
