An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Jeff,
May be in your case it will be easier to have tags added to projects with ability to filter quickly all "Photoshop" projects on Dashboard?
I think if we will even add it and you will start branching it will become a pain to open and find projects anyway.Where it is really needed (case I am dealing with right now) is when multinational company wants to have area for each country where project groups can be created but still a possibility to see all projects across their business for those who need it. This is clearly one level more is needed in addition to what we have and I am still thinking if we should add just one more level or go crazy and allow people to make infinite hierarchy for their projects. may be 2 levels + tags for projects. I am sure you are familiar with tags concept since your are in photography business.
What do you think?
Global search - yes we need it as well as ability to search inside uploaded office and text documents and PDF's.
Regards,
IgorAn error occurred while saving the comment Good question. It is for project groups. For example: Within the Photo Services group for our store, we would like to add subgroups for organizational purposes. They would be Photoshop, slide scanning, black & white, outlab, etc. It would help greatly and be a neater dashboard if we could look under a major group, then find the sub group instead of looking through all the orders. It would save alot of time. In addition, a search feature would be really helpful which I voted for. Each order is bagged with its own unique number, so when a customer comes in and we can't find the order, we can search to see if it is still in progress or finished. Thanks for listening and your the best!

Hi Adrian,
Makes sense – thank you.
Let’s see now what other people think about it.Cheers,
IgorAn error occurred while saving the comment That role will be 'Commenter'. Readers are clearly read only people - no traces of their modification should exist - to me.

An error occurred while saving the comment I would assume this have to be done per Discussion group. When you create a discussion group you can optionally make it Q/A (person asking can select best answer) or Voting enabled (aka UserVoice).
Having ability to do both like Stack Overflow (vote on questions and answers) is an overkill to me.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Steve,
Eventually this needs to be inside CRM and we should charge for it.
Now you can easily create a project called 'Leads' and track each lead as a task or a Milestone or a Task group - plenty of ways exists. You will not see progress bar but you can easily set due dates for follow ups.
Is converting a Lead into a Project is a big pain point for you now? No question - it is good to have. If an issue - create a new project in a project group called 'Leads'. When deal is signed - move a project to another project group, archive sales activity tasks so you do not see them, if necessary.
If I will be able to find a business sponsor to improve CRM right now - we will do it straight away.

An error occurred while saving the comment Response: "Correct. High level overview of the timeline of the sprints in jira ( calendar view with high level tasks) and links to any related documents in confluence. We rely heavily on Jira."
An error occurred while saving the comment So you want to use Freedcamp as an extension to Atlassian products facing non technical stakeholders and/or clients who will get lost in Jira?

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Andrew,
Thanks for posting. Have you tried new Global Calendar - https://freedcamp.com/dashboard/calendar? I am about to announce it.
It is full page and it shows you titles of tasks as well as completion status.(as 'completed on Oct 8, 2015' not crossed as you said).

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Jean-Charles,
What do you think of showing most recent comments on top - https://freedcamp.uservoice.com/forums/126945-suggestions-for-features/suggestions/7269099-most-recent-comment-at-the-top
? In this case adding a comment and changing a status are within an easy reach.Cheers,

An error occurred while saving the comment You can always create a task or a discussion called 'Budget' and attach GDrive spreadsheet to it but this feature request is to have something like https://www.mavenlink.com/tour/time-and-expense#budgets as an application you can add to your projects.

Thanks for posting. have you checked https://freedcamp.uservoice.com/forums/126945-suggestions-for-features/suggestions/2215371-finance-integration or https://freedcamp.uservoice.com/forums/126945-suggestions-for-features/suggestions/5717587-add-a-full-budget-to-projects posted earlier?

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Benjamin,
Thanks for posting. What do you want to see inside - latest comments or list of topics sorted by last comment?
Why did you say 'selected discussions' - you are not interested in all discussions you are subscribed to in this Widget?

IgorAn error occurred while saving the comment Hi Jul,
Yes we will translate Freedcamp to other languages but we want to know which ones to concentrate on first. We are not IBM or Microsoft - have limited resources. This is why we encourage you to vote for language you need telling us what is higher priority.
Many our users do not know what "translations" are. They simply type language they use.
"By dividing each ticket by language you invisibilise the real importance of internationalization for your users. My paranoid arachnid sense is afraid this will justify not to address this issue."
- what tells you about that? We do not look at it as an issue. We have 500 votes for Gantt chart and we are not going to do it in 2015 but we see it and we think about it and we change plans based on it. Actually based on everything posted here.We haven't deleted it, we provided instructions for people to vote and we are too small a team to forget about such things.
I can tell you know - we are not doing it in 2015. We have limited resources and other priorities right now.
I want to keep feedback clean - so I close some ideas and tell people why I do it.And this was Igor not Angel as we use shared account as admins on UserVoice. Blame it on me :)

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Alex,
Thanks for posting. may I ask a few sample categories you have in mind? How many projects you typically have or plan to have in a group?
We are adding ability to hide/archive completed projects - now they are shown as deactivated.

We are already working now on a new concept called Dashboards that will support the Summary widget (pie, bar, battery, or card output), Table, and Buttons widgets. Essentially dashboards are custom reports and you can create as many dashboards as you need with as many widgets with drag and drop capability to set your perfect layout. Eventually, Dashboards will supersede the Widgets page. Dashboards can be private, shared with all team members (new members will see it too) or selected team members. Initially, dashboards will be added to the Enterprise plan.
An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Ariel,
"In some cases it is beneficial to see new TODOs on top. For example, I have a list of Completed TODOS, but the most recently completed items are at the bottom of the list!"
I checked - most recently completed TODOs are on top now.
"I would also like to be able to sort by project, for widgets that include TODOS from multiple projects."Will project/user sorting also work for you? (see Johnnie's comment below)
An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Ariel,
We raised some money from investors and now are switching into full speed development mode. True - it is not hard to do when you have all team working full time.

An error occurred while saving the comment >Right now it looks like the order of the drop down changes accordingly to which project has the latest update
We have 'Reorder projects' button on Manage projects page - https://freedcamp.com/manage. You can set your order or keep list in alphabetical order - by project groups, projects. If you use custom order new projects will be added at the bottom in each group and you can drag them to a new place with 'Projects reorder'. The only thing we do in the main menu - we always move to top a project group in a project you are currently in.
