These recurring tasks would be standalone tasks under a list (e.g. Month-Ends). You could then have a number of tasks in this list, of which all have a specific business day of the month to be completed. For example, on the 5th business day of every month a deadline for Accounts Payable to close. On the 8th business day of every month a deadline for accounting procedures to be complete. On the 12th business day of every month a deadline to report financial statements to the bank.
In this situation there would not be subtasks for each of these tasks. However, that could be a great idea to visualize workflows.
