Easier Access to Widgets Page
It would be nice to still have access to the normal dashboard as well as the widgets dashboard - there's plenty of space in the navigation to add it as an extra item up there so that it's an easy 1 click to get to it.
Hi Cody,
All done now – http://blog.freedcamp.com/2016/01/21/set-your-home-page-in-freedcamp/
Cheers,

It also seems odd that the dashboard doesn't have access to the other tabs directly, yet the hierarchy of the drop down navigation seems like they are children of the dashboard and should be present as tabs

Thanks for the response Igor, I've known about that, but I feel like if I choose that I then loose the normal dashboard, maybe after switching I will realize I do not need that dashboard? But so far from my initial user experience (tried freedcamp yesterday) that seems to be a very useful page. It seems from the blog post that I'll still have a way to access the normal dashboard - it will be nested away in the drop down.
It seems like the normal dashboard is more user friendly, but it seems like you guys have a push to have users using the widgets board.
There does seems to be some inconsistencies in UI from a UX perspective.
I've been clicking notifications to get access to the widget board. There was no real explanation as to how to get to it in the tutorial if I recall correctly.
Once clicking on notifications you're presented with a tab-based layout, although notifications are not even part of the tabs :P
I wouldn't mind seeing the tab's icons in the top blue navigation area, although it then relies on a user to implicitly know what the icons mean, they would have to hover the icons to understand what the pages are or at least click on them a couple of times to understand - not the best UX, but it would present a more unified UX. I'm wondering if the split in UI is due to testing new features or due to a new UI but trying to keep access to old features.
