  1. Global Tasks Board - add an ability to jump to a project tasks list

    It would be great if when you're on a Global Tasks Board to have a button that would bring you directly to the Project's Tasks Page that the task is listed under. Currently, you have to do multiple clicks or have to go back to the dashboard to find that project and see all tasks within it. Being able to access it right from the task page would be efficient! Thanks for your consideration!

  2. Search for items with no due date set

    need the ability to select unassigned doe due date in search criteria same as you can for assigned user so we can easily find tasks that have not been assigned a due date

  3. Please implemented the collapse of individual tasks

    It 'a mess to have all visible tasks are confusing and if there was the possibility of collassarli, either singly or in multiple ways, it would be great

  4. A certain page for workflows (templates)

    I created projects as a template, I do not want to show them in my dashboard because i only use them as a tempate. (this is a function i liked in redbooth, but i would love freed camp to have this option!)

    Hi,

    You can mark template as completed project and you will not see it anywhere except Manage Projects page. You can still use completed project as a source to make a new one without un-archiving.

    It is not possible to properly assign and identify task owners when you have two users with same name and different surname

  6. exactly defined color

    I'm not sure if this topic has been posted before.
    Each project can also be marked with a color.
    Unfortunately, the color can not be defined exactly.
    For example RGB or Hexcode.
    Is there a solution for this?

  7. New module - hidden notes

    Imagine that you're a team manager (just like me) and you're doing some task.

    I'm attaching a task to someone, let's say that his name is Ivan.
    And I would like to describe something that concerns only me and the task, not Ivan, so he should not see this.

    For example, it may be something about the pricing or something about the client that we're doing with.

    Something that should remain hidden for some reason, hidden notes.

  8. Movable Widget Windows

    I tried to place 3 widget windows on the screen horizontally instead of on the top of each other, but could not (dragging the widget window would be a great to have feature). It would simplify the reading.

  9. drag & drop of HTML links retaining display text in editors

    if one drags a link that has display text instead of a raw link (from the browser address bar, e.g., where the display text is the page title), the link should be dropped into the various editor fields with the display text intact.

    Currently display text is discarded, and only the raw link is left. One must manually restore the display text if desired.

  10. Have option to archive completed tasks in one go.

    Multi select on items is a key, while moving them or while archiving(option required) right now there is no choice but to delete the tasks that are complete.

    Hi Sagar,

    We allow:

    - archive task groups not individual tasks
    - use saved filters to show tasks say completed not earlier than 14 weeks ago effectively filtering old completed tasks and still showing recently completed tasks.

    We do not plan to allow to archive individual tasks.

  11. Users forum

    Aside to the Support center (which is great here as I observe) there could be a users forum for exchanging experience between users on common issues. Sometimes problem solution can lie not in technical development, what can be discussed here in Suggestions desk, but simply sharing experiences between users. For instance I am thinking about on issue - how do others reflect delays in their tasks. It maybe can be a technical solution but not necessarily. There could be a chance to discuss issues with other users and then come up with already discussed suggestion here.

  12. Combined calendar for chosen projects

    I want to be able to plan two or three projects one after the other or in parallel, as it often is so that my recreational projects often extend over a long period of time.

  13. Widgets: Add 'Unassigned' option to Tasks widget

    It would be good to have a view of all tasks that are unassigned. The widget Tasks currently allows only the selection of "All" or of any given user, but currently there is no way to get a view of all the tasks that are Unassigned. Having a widget for Unassigned Tasks would help prevent any task from getting overlooked.

  14. Categorization for Time Records

    There isn't a way to separate the time records for billing purposes. Currently I have to put the category I want as the first word of the time record followed by a -. When using the time export for reporting purposes I have to manually move Text-to-Column in the .xls file and hope there are no other - symbols in my column. It would be great if it would let us set up categories, or let us pick the task group for the project.

  15. Blue highlighted text hard to read

    When trying to edit a task or anything, the blue highlight (Freedcamp's brand colour) makes the previous information (in black type) hard to read. Maybe it could be a percentage of the brand colour?

  16. Non-participating resource/user

    Sometimes we have to schedule tasks for 3rd party or even resource that do not really have intention to use Freedcamp (could be due to company policies etc)

    Can this be achieved? Current seems like FreedCamp only allow for actual users to be added as a resource or task owner.

  17. Option to select a default view for tasks for all users for a given project

    Right now we have the option to switch to Kanban view and it only works for the currently logged in user. But it would be awesome if we can set a default view for tasks for all users in that given project.

    Hi Roshan,

    When you create a project and select, for example, Kanban view – all invited users default view will be Kanban. Users can switch it to List view if they want it.
    If you will switch your view now to List view and invite more people their default will be list view but they can switch it to Kanban.

  18. Release Management

    We have a lot of projects happening at the same time, and we have to perform a set sequence of tasks when any new site is built or new facilities added.

    What I would like to see is some sort of simple release management system that can be used to check projects or tasks with a check list of pre-defined production jobs, so for example, when we have a website that is ready for launch, we have to do pre-launch checks: internal link testing, cross browser testing, mobile compatibility testing, get client sign-off etc, and then after launch we have…

  20. Share a read only version of the Calendar via link

    It would be nice to share a read only version of my project calendar via a link. I'm thinking about using the FreedCamp for my work but don't want to invite my boss to sign up (he's a Luddite- it won't work out) but it would be an easy way to show him what I'm working on.
