Home Dashboard > My Work > Tasks | Include project name w/Task
I love the new Home dashbaord! But I think it might be helpful, under "My Work" and "Tasks" if the task could also include the name of the project the tasks is under. I sometimes have similar task names, but under different projects, so it's hard to differentiate at a glance. Just a thought and thanks for your consideration!

The smartest solution will be to detect if we display identical tasks in it. If we do - add task lists and if task lists are also identical - show project names instead.
Thing is - it turns out some people have repetitive projects where 'Fix printer' task can be repeated and assigned to you in 10 projects and some people never have such problem so populating their interface with excessive info would be a definite disadvantage.
I personally do not understand why it matters if you use start and due dates - you have 5 tasks and all of them 'Fix printer' - why not just complete the first one in a list sorted by due date?
Can you post very appealing use case why it matters, please?
Cheers,

Hi Freedcamp, I see that you've added it as a mouseover; which is a nice step. But I agree with June, it still would be more efficient to see the title of it at a glance. I'm sure there's probably a lot of back-end programming that I don't understand which perhaps makes this complicated…but from a user perspective, I think it could be nice! Thanks for your consideration! —Stephanie

Hi there! I agree, and it needs to be more than a mouse hover. As Stephanie pointed out, it's the "at a glance" part that the mouse hover will not provide. I too have task names that are similar, and I am forced to click into each one to figure out the right one I need to be viewing or adding notes in.
